Minak had offered to help me arrange my stuff in my room since the movers got a bit busy with something yesterday and couldn't come do it for me. The boxes were still neatly stacked against the far corner.

He really was an angel..

I had gone to the kitchen and poured us some orange juice to keep us hydrated. Unfortunately it wasn't cold since I didn't have a refrigerator yet.

It still tasted good though. I handed Minak a glass of it while he was busy trying to open one of the boxes. "It's not cold, sorry.."

"Nah it's all good" he took the glass and sipped it. "Not a big fan of orange juice to be very honest. I'm more into apple or grape" I mumbled

He chuckled at that. "Then why'd you buy it?"

"I was in a hurry and that was the only juice available for the moment at the grocery store" I said shrugging. He chuckled again.

Sometimes I just feel like I could melt with that beautiful laugh of his.

"Nngh.. well, do I need to put this closet together?" He asked me, hoisting the wooden parts over his shoulder.

"Yeah, I think I have a hammer and a screwdriver around here somewhere, probably in my room. I'll go get it"

While I left to get the tools, I heard Minak groaning under the weight of the wooden parts. It kinda got me worried. Was I being a bother?

Did he really want to help me or is he just driven by pity?

I mean he did say he loved me. He probably did want to help me. But... what's there to like about me?

I found the tools and went back to the living room. Minak had all the parts out of the box and laying in a heap on the floor. He looked exhausted already.

I smiled as he took another sip of his orange juice.

He glanced at me. "Great!"

I smiled again. "Are you sure you don't mind helping me put this together? I mean, I do know how to put beds and closets toge-"

He held his index finger up against my lips, making a slight blush settle on my cheeks. "Ofcourse I don't mind baby" he gave me one of his soft gorgeous smiles, and I almost melted on the floor in a steaming hot puddle.

"O-okay"

The rest of our work went quietly, none of us talking to each other except about the closet. And ofcourse he pushed in a smile or a kiss here and there, which ofcourse made me blush.

God he was... Ugh, so fucking perfect...

I decided to play some music halfway through putting the closet together. Minak was just screwing the doors on while I poured us another couple of juice glasses.

House of Memories played in the background as we worked. Minak eventually ended up hammering in tune with the beat, which made me laugh.

Finally, the closet was done, and we, were both sweating profusely. The song had changed to For Your Entertainment, creating a kind of slight sexual tension between us.

I sipped my juice and shifted my feet. Minak let out a loud sigh and turned to me, probably noticing my awkward stance.

He walked closer and leaned in towards my face, making my cheeks go warm. "You good?"

I gave him a short nod. "Mhm.."

He gently held my chin and lifted my face up so he could see me better. I gulped. "Th-thanks for helping me out"

He chuckled "ofcourse baby. Also, I actually was thinking..."

He pulled his wallet out, making my tongue go dry as he pulled out a thick stack of cash. "Lemme know if you need more, have this for now though"

"Wait, what, for real?"

He shrugged and scratched his neck sheepishly "ofcourse, happy to help" he gave me a lil wink, and I blushed again.

I glanced down at the floor for a few seconds before glancing back up at him.

"About... about what you said yesterday..."

He seemed interested suddenly. "Yes?"

"I'll be... your boyfriend. I'd, love to be your boyfriend"

His eyes widened as his lips pulled back into a smile. "Really?"

I nodded and smiled at him. In turn he had hugged me tight, almost making me topple over.

"I love you, Caz"

I chuckled and squeezed his body against my own, smiling against his hard chest.

"I love you too Min"
