Me and Nick were walking back home from an extra class tonight. It was quite dark out, and like, we kinda haven't said a word to each other yet.

Nick had finally broke ten minutes worth of ice. "so uh.."

"Hm?"

That was the end of our conversation for now. I sighed and gripped the straps of my bag tight, passing through an especially dark part of the street.

The street light was smashed. Huh, wonder who did that. (Sarcasm, ofcourse. Stray men and gals around here are really active at night)

"So uh, you know how this route gets us home in like, five minutes, and the route straight up takes twenty minutes?"

"Yeah" oh fuck no-

"Well, let's go this way" Nick said, pointing towards a dark street to the right, no streetlights present whatsoever.

I shuddered. "No way man.."

"Come onnn, pussy, I'm tired. My legs can't take any more of this torture"

"Blame aunt Gilda's stupid anniversary party" I rolled my eyes and turned to take the dark spoopy route. Nick grinned and followed.

"Y'know, I actually wanted to go to the party as well, just had to have an extra class at this hour"

Aunt Gilda was my aunt (duh) and she and her husband were having their 13 year wedding anniversary tonight. Callie and my parents were there, which was why Callie couldn't come pick me up from school.

I had to walk.

Halfway through the spoopy street, I heard a low whisper from behind me. "Wha-"

Before I could comprehend what that was, big sweaty hands clamped over my mouth, yanking me backwards. I let out muffled shrieks and screams and I tried my damn best to break free, but it was no use. Whoever it was was too strong.

Unfortunately, Nick's desperate screams and cries were heard as well beside me, though I couldn't see him since it was pretty dark.

That's it. We're gonna die. I know it.

"OW, FUCKING PIG!!" one of them yelled out in a gruff voice as a loud thud was heard, followed by a crack. Whoever it was had let go of my mouth, and I stumbled forward, quickly turning around to see where Nick was.

"Nick?!" Sure enough, he stumbled right into my arms, and I held onto him tight. We both tried to make out what was going on infront of us.

One of the men came flying through the air and landed at our feet. It was a guy who I assumed was around 30 or 35. I grimaced in disgust, then glanced up to see who our savior was.

A familiar redhead emerged from the shadows, blood on the side of his face, his fist covered in it. Alon stepped up behind him, the other person dragged by her shirt collar. The side of her head dripped crimson liquid, and her violet hair was all messed up and filthy.

"Babe-" I cried out, running to hugg Minak. Nick did the same with Alon. "How'd you-"

"Princess Nicky here has quite a scream" Alon chuckled, ruffling up Nick's hair. He giggled like a toddler. "Always comes in handy"

I did realize I was getting blood on me from Minak's face and hands, but I didn't mind. I leaned upwards and kissed Min's bloody cheek.

He quickly pushed me away from him. "Whoa whoa. I've got filth on me honey"

"I don't fucking give a shit" I growled and proceeded to press my lips against his, the taste of metal strong against my tongue.

He gave in and kissed me back, his hand snaking around to grab my ass as I let out a soft moan into his mouth.

I heard Alon dial 911 as I pulled out of the kiss. I had a closer look at the duo who tried assaulting us. Both seemed to be in their early 30's, blood trickling down the side of their faces, mouths open, eyes fluttering shut as they slowly lost consciousness.

"911 what's your emergency"

"Yeah, uh, Alon Grey here, two of our friends got assaulted"
