I didn't know why, but Caz hadn't spoke to anyone yet today, and class was almost over. I tried to get his attention by poking him on the shoulder or something but he just ignored me.

I was starting to get a bit worried at this point.

"Babe, what's wrong?" I asked, catching up to him walking incredibly fast towards the school gates. When I placed a hand on his shoulder he abruptly brushed it off.

And didn't say anything.

I just went back home, I didn't talk to Alon or reply to his texts. I knew something was up with Caz and it was eating me up inside. I couldn't really get my mind off of it, and I didn't want to either.

Stepping out of the shower, I slowly dried myself off and pulled on a black sleeveless shirt and jeans. Then, grabbing my streaming equipment, I plopped down on my chair.

I couldn't really concentrate much on the game I was playing, which was a random horror game a follower had asked me to try out.

Something about midnights and mops?

"..yeah, uh, sorry it's just that my lover has been ignoring me at school today.." I had mumbled into my mic. The chat immediately started bombarding me with questions about who my lover was.

I sneered. They could be annoying sometimes. But I brushed it off and tried to focus on the game.

I sighed and muttered. "I'm really not comfortable with doing that right now. Maybe I'll let y'all know who it is later?"

I opened my mouth to say something, but my phone ringing in my pocket had interrupted me.

"Hold on I need to get this"

I paused the game and checked who was calling me. I internally perked up when I saw my boyfriend's name on the screen.

I picked the call up and turned my chair around, my back to the computer. "Hey babe"

"Hey.."

Wait, was he.. crying??

"Honey, are you okay?"

He replied with a string of sobs and whimpers, and it sounded like he was blowing his nose as well. "I'm so sorry for ignoring you today, I was just.."

"No it's alright, I had a feeling something was wrong. Would it make you feel better if I came over? That would be better than discussing this on call"

He slightly whimpered before replying. "But you're on stream right now. I'm literally watching it"

"The stream can wait, you're way more important." I wanted to be a good boyfriend for him. I wanted him to genuinely love me like I loved him. So I had to make sure he was safe and alright.

I rode towards his apartment in a few minutes, and stepped into the elevator when I arrived. Once it stopped at his floor, I stepped out and knocked on his door.

Almost immediately, it opened, and Caz stood infront of me, a teary mess.

"Oh, baby..." I pulled him in for a tight embrace, and he hugged me back.

He didn't say anything, but stepped aside so I can come in. And I did come in. We both set ourselves down on his bed, and I started talking.

"What's wrong? Is everything alright? You can talk to me love"

The boy hesitated for a moment before taking a deep breath and croaking out in a shaky voice.

"...I got raped..."

My tongue went dry, my heart almost stopped beating entirely. I stared at his face In blank shock. "You..what..?"

I wasn't sure if I heard that correctly.

"Who did it? When did it happen? How?"

He hesitated yet again before replying softly. "My dad's ex-friend. He used to be extremely inappropriate with me when I was a kid, touched me in the wrong places and, well, y'know... It wasn't pleasant"

I listened.

"He's back, and he still wants me..."

I was so gonna murder someone soon. Ohhh I was SO gonna murder someone soon.

Doesn't his dad know about this? About his childhood? If so, didn't he do anything about it?

"Babe?"

"What's his name, and is there a way I can meet him"

He looked terrified at what I just said. "No, he'll hurt you. He's stronger than you think"

"Then I'll just call the poli-"

"NO!" he straight out started crying, burying his face in my chest. "PLEASE"

I gulped and hugged him. "Alright, but I am going to have to do something. Did he hurt you?" I asked, lifting his shirt up so I can check the skin underneath. Sure enough, I saw red scratch marks on his waist bone and lower stomach.

I was angry before, but now I was furious.
