Olive-ish brown complexion with very curly brown and hazel eyes, Dani has multiple piercings including three in each lobe, her left cartilage, and nose, she has a small planetary themed tattoo on her ankle as well. She let her friend bleach and dye her hair while she was in cosmetology school, and while she liked, Dani had decided not to keep up with it; with plans to eventually cut out the bleached part once it's grown out enough for her.

Personality: Dani is a very warm and open person, always willing to do whatever she can to help whoever needs it. She can be a little closed off when she first meets someone but that tends to quickly go away. She has a very dry sense of humor, and tends to rely a lot on sarcasm and self-deptication.
Background: Dani grew up in central Georgia, raised by her mother with help from her parents (Dani's grandparents) after a falling out with Dani's father and the man walking out of their lives. Eventually, when Dani was about four, her mother met and later married the man that for all intents and purposes became her dad, Emanuel Maisonave; and with him came his own daughter who very quickly became Dani's best friend. The girls were born within a couple weeks of each other, so they quite literally did everything together for most of their lives.
Dani went to school for film making and sound design, something she'd always been passionate about. After graduation, she had a couple different jobs around, mostly editing sound and audio for various projects in and around Atlanta, until she managed to land a job working on the film crew for a new reality tv series for MTV, sending Dani to New Jersey for the first time ever.
Family and Friends:
Dasia Deveraux-Maisonave, Mother, 45:
- Dani and her mother are very close. Dasia has never been shy about the fact the she is there for her kids 110%, she tries not to fight their battles for them, but she makes sure they know they never have to go through anything on their own. Dasia originally started out cleaning homes and offices as a way to support herself and Dani, and now owns an extremely successful organizational company
Emanuel Maisonave, Step-Father, 48:
- Emanuel was very quick to embrace Dani when he and Dasia got to the point of introducing the other to their kids, both girls have had him wrapped around their little fingers since the day they came into his life. Manny is an event planner who works with some of the biggest companies and names in Georgia.
Inara Maisonave, Step-Sister/BFF, 25:
- Nana and Dani have been best friends practically since the day they were introduced. In true sister fashion, they have had moments where they get in bad, knock-down-drag-out type fights... But at the end of the day they're each other's ride or die, and they will always be there for the other. Inara started as a makeup artist and over the last few years has been branching out into special effects work. Dani is her favorite guinea pig/model.
Louis Deveraux, Grandfather, 65:
- Louis Deveraux was born and raised in France, he made a career in boxing that he used to fund his coming to America. After a very successful career boxing himself, Louis stepped out of the ring to become a coach. In recent years, he has semi-retired, only working with certain boxers upon special request. Louis loves both his granddaughters with his entire being, and made sure to teach them everything he knows
Nancy Deveraux, Grandmother, 63:
- Nancy is the quintessential southern grandma, she spoils her grandkids at any given opportunity and has been a huge influence on Dani and the way she treats people. Nancy met her husband when she get a job cleaning the gym where he trained, and since the day they got married, she's devoted her entire life to taking care of her family.
Luke Thomaston, Best Friend, 26:
- Luke is your typical southern, Georgia boy: big heart, good manners, and raised in the mindset of you don't start shit, but you sure as hell finish it. He's been best friends with Dani and Inara since they were all in middle school, he's very protective of his girls and takes his roll as unofficial big brother very seriously.
Anthony Rossi, Bio-Father, 48:
- Dani and her father are estranged. He made it very clear he wanted nothing to do with her, and as far as Dani is concerned, the man doesn't exist.
Other:
- Growing up in a multicultural family, Dani is fluent in both Spanish and French
- Her mother enrolled her in dance classes when she was very young, and Dani took to it like a fish to water
- She started with ballet but also studies ballroom and later hip-hop as well
- Dani used to teach dance classes as a way to make money while she was going to school
- The nickname 'Double D' came from Luke, based on Dani's initials, and the fact they all loved the show Ed, Edd, and Eddy when they were little
