Meet Double D

[Dani: awkward and clearly nervous as she sits in front of the confession cam "Ok so... My name is Dani, and I guess I'm here to replace Angelina after... she left..." She stops, looking like she's listening to someone behind the camera, and laughs nervously, nodding, "Yes, I'm incredibly nervous... They've all been here for like almost two weeks already, and I come waltzing in out of nowhere... Wish me luck. I'm gonna need it."]

Dani walked nervously up to the shore house, duffle bag slung over her shoulder. She stopped outside the door, taking a deep breath and muttering a quiet 'now or never' under her breath before knocking and pushing the door open.

Dani, glancing around as she steps inside: "Hello? Anybody up?"

Jenni stopped on her way into the kitchen, and Pauly immediately jumped up from his spot on the couch. He quickly stopped and visibly relaxed when he saw who was coming in.

Dani, smiling and waving nervously: "Hi, I'm Dani. I'm the roommate taking Angelina's place."

[Pauly D: "So it's super early in the morning, like people are just starting to wake up, and all the sudden this new girl comes walking in talking about being here to replace Angelina."]

[Jwoww: "I mean... literally anything would be an improvement to Angelina at this point."]

Pauly smiled as he moved towards her, offering a small hug a cheek kiss in greeting: "Hey, how's it going? I'm Pauly."

Jenni, coming back around to greet her to: "Jenni, nice to meet you."

Dani smiled, nodding to both of them: "Nice to meet you too."

Pauly quickly took her bag from her, setting it on the couch for now and motioning for her to follow them through the kitchen

Pauly: "C'mon, there's a couple people up, we'll introduce you."

Jenni tried to hide her smirk, already knowing what was coming, acting like she was going to get a drink while Pauly ushered Dani out on the porch.

Pauly, hauling Dani in front of him to present her to Vinny and Mike at the picnic table: "NEW ROOMMATE IN HOUSE!"

[Dani: "Oh dear god..."]

Mike and Vinny both stood up to greet the new girl, seemingly sizing Dani up as they introduced themselves

Dani nodded, hugging both of them as well, and trying to ignore the appraising looks: "Hey, nice to meet you guys. I'm Dani, I'm your new room mate."

Vinny: "Hey, Vinny, nice to meet you too."

[Vinny: "New girl's kinda hot, and she seems more chill than Angelina... so, we'll see how it works out."]

Mike, kissing both her cheeks: "I'm Mike, sweetheart, the Situation. Glad to have you, welcome to the house."

[Pauly: "Right out the gate, Situation's layinging it on pretty thick... New girl's cute though, so it's not like you can really blame him."]

[Mike: "I mean... we're all thinking it. And you can't hate the player for playing the game.]

Unfortunately, between work and errands, there wasn't much time for introductions and most of the roommates went scrambling out of the house. Dani, Pauly and Vinny being the only ones left at the end of it.

Vinny, looking between Pauly and Dani: "So what do we want to do?"

Pauly shrugged: "You wanna go down to the boardwalk?" When Vinny nodded, he turned to Dani, "What about you new girl, you wanna come to the boardwalk with us?"

Dani nodded, standing up: "Sure, sounds like fun. You guys mind if we stop by the store though? Just let me introduce myself to the boss and grab my schedule, that's all."

Vinny nodded: "Yeah, that's no problem. Get your stuff, we'll introduce you to the boss."

After another moment for everyone to collects purses and wallets and what not, the trio was headed out to the boardwalk.

Vinny led the way, glancing back over his shoulder at Dani: "You ever been to the Shore before?"

Dani: "No. This is my first time coming to Jersey period."

Pauly: "Really? Like at all?"

Dani laughed: "Yeah. Never even set foot in the state before."

Vinny, slowing down to walk on her other side: "So where are you from then?"

Dani: "Georgia. You probably don't know where Forsyth is, but we live just outside of it."

Pauly: "So you're a long way from home then... how'd you end up here, Georgia Girl?"

Dani started to blush slightly: "Actually... I was part of the film crew before Angelina threw everything out of whack."

Pauly gasped loudly, looking down at her: "I knew you looked familiar!"

[Vinny: "She started as one of the camera people... it's kind of weird - not in a bad way. Just she's spent all this time watching us and probably has like opinions and stuff about us already. And none of us have even paid that close of attention to her until she walked in the front door this morning."]

Danny was nice enough when Pauly and Vinny introduced her. Though he did seem a little skeptical - Angelina apparently leaving a bad taste in everyone's mouth - he gave her the same speech about the importance of showing up to work on time and not too messed up from the night before. Dani only assure him it would be ok, and took the offered schedule.

They stopped to talk to Sam and Ronnie while they worked for a moment before moving along so nobody caught the bosses ire.

[Dani: "Still a little nervous, but I think I'm going to be ok... everyone seems pretty cool. I think we're going to have a good time."]

Dani linked arms with both Pauly and Vinny as the three headed down the boardwalk.

Dani: "All right, I've been dying to get on that rollercoaster... either of you willing to ride with me?"

Vinny very quickly shook his head, extracting himself from Dani's grip while Pauly threw his head back laughing; wrapping his arm around Dani's shoulders.

Pauly was already steering her towards the rides: "Don't worry 'bout him, Georgia Girl, I got you!"

[Pauly: "Nah, Dani seems pretty cool so far. You can tell she's real chill, way better fit than Angelina. That's for sure.... And prettier too. Definitely an upgrade."]
