Wednesday's pov

The door to my parent's black Cadillac Hearse opened, Lurch stood next to it towering over the car. I looked around my surroundings, Nevermore looked the same as before. I stepped out the back seats of the hearse as Lurch closed the door behind me and made his way to the back of the car to retrieve my things from inside the trunk.

"Wednesday, dear isn't it good to be back?" My Mother exclaimed cheerfully as she walked towards me with father. "My little death trap.." he paused to look around before panning his focus back to me "it's like your first day all over again".

It was like a repeat of my first day, only this time I knew what I was walking into.

I hate to admit but there was only one thing on my mind. Enid. The colourful girl I met on my first day who saved my life on my last. I hadn't seen nor spoken to her since the last time I was here. Something in me was excited by the thought of seeing her again.

I said short goodbyes to mother and father before both I and Lurch made our way up to my old dorm.

As I got to the door I paused a moment, Lurch stood behind me holding my cases. I took a second to let it sink in that I was back at this dorm once again. I needed to prepare myself to see the girl who was playing on my mind the whole time I wasn't here.

After bringing myself back to reality I pushed the door open. Enid was sitting on her bed, with company.

Ajax was sat next to her mid way through kissing when I walked in. Enid instantly turned to me breaking off the kiss "Wednesday! You came back!" She jumped up from her bed and rushed towards me.

Lurch walked around the two of us to put my belongings down as Enid stepped in for a hug. I stepped away from her leaving her with an ever so slightly saddened expression.

"Come on, I thought we were past that?" She smiled and put her arms out once again giving me a second chance.

"Enid.." I said firmly and she nodded "okay fine" she turned and headed back over to her bed where Ajax was putting on his shoes and gathering his things together.

Once he was done we stood up from her bed "I'll leave you guys to it" he said with a soft smile when he looked at Enid, he then kissed her cheek and left the dorm.

While this was happening I was at my desk setting my typewriter up on it like I had it before. I wouldn't dare to look at Enid, I didn't want to let the jealous anger that was building up show on my face.

I couldn't help myself but ask "you and Ajax?" I said keeping my eyes focused on the keys of my typewriter.

"We're official! Can you believe it!" She squealed behind me "I don't want to.." I muttered under my breath quietly. I felt some kind of pain inside me as she answered my question, not a good pain.

"He's so dreamy, I can't believe we're toge-" Enid continued to talk about Ajax until I interrupted her "Enid" I forced myself to turn to her, she was laying on her bed until I turned to her which is when she sat up.

Her smiled dropped and she looked at me sadly "Wednesday..I'm sorry, I forgot about Tyler..." my mind replayed memories with him, I wanted myself to like him so I didn't have to feel that way about Enid. But he was gone now, leaving me here with Enid again. Only this time she has Ajax.

A knock at the door closed up the awkward silence that had appeared between us. The door open and Xavier walked in. He gave Enid a little wave then turned to me "good to see you back Wednesday" he smiled and stepped further into the dorm.

"I was wondering if you'd like to come down to Jericho and join me for drinks?" He pulled his card from his wallet and smirked "I'll pay" I looked over at Enid who was watching our interaction with hopeful eyes.

I nodded at him "yes, I'd like that" I wished it were Enid who was asking me but it wasn't and I needed to move on.

Xavier's smile got wider "cool so I'll wait in the lobby for you" he said before disappearing once again.

Enid's head snapped in my direction "is Wednesday Addams and Xavier Thorpe back on?!" She jumped up from her bed and towards me. I turned and gather up my things "it's not like that Enid" I sighed as I put on my black jacket.

Enid found her way in front of me "it's totally a date!" She cheered with her hands firmly placed on my shoulders. Feeling her hands on me made the blood rush to my face creating a light blush.

"See! You're blushing!" If only Enid knew I wasn't blushing because of Xavier, it was because of her. Usually with anyone else I would've pushed them away but something in me begged for her to always be close by.

I put my head down to hide my face away from hers "you better get going then Wednesday" she smiled and stepped back holding her hands behind her back. I nodded and pulled my bag over my shoulders, I then headed towards the door.

"Good luck Wednesday!" Enid shouted behind me as I left the dorm.

I already missed her stupid face. It was driving me insane feeling this way about her.
