𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐃,, 𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐱 𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐬

𝟎𝟎𝟗. 𝐂𝐑𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐆𝐈𝐑𝐋𝐒

All the teachers were easily convinced by me and thorns sickly faces. My face tingled sending a sensation all the way to my toes as thorn painted a freezing cold face mask all over my face.

"okay now do mine!" she squealed happily handing me the brush. We had matching hair pully back thingys. whatever there called stopping the mask from getting in our hair.

I copied what she did and painted her face with the cold liquid. We then snuggled down with our backs against the window under millions of blankets. We shared a bowl of m&ms while we watched matilda the musical.

Ms thornhill came in the room cheerfully and thorn pressed pause. "thursday someones here to see you." she said before giving us a smile and leaving.

She got up and walked out into the hall. I heard them speaking but couldn't make out the words. A few minutes later thursday walked in the room mindlessly staring off into the distance.

I got up and ran to her. "thorn? are you okay?" She turned to me and shook her head then suddenly burst into tears leaning her head against my shoulder as I rubbed her back whispering reassuring words into her ear.

"Thorn! Talk to me, why are you mad at me now?" Xavier screamed from the other side of the door banging on it agressively. Gave me heather vibes not gonna lie.

"Just go away!" I screamed back wrapping a blanket around her shoulders death staring the door.

The banging didn't stop as she sobbed into her own hands. The phone I gave to thorn rang underneath the blanket and she picked it up showing a call from xavier displayed on the screen.

I couldn't with this boy. Just leave her the fuck alone. woah me woah language.

She pressed the decline button so quickly and wiped another tear standing up slowly and walking to the door.

He pulled her out the door and leaned over her to close it. I sighed loudly annoyed at how clingy and desperate xavier was being right now.

I rushed to my sisters room as soon as she texted me with "help 😭".

I burst through the door to see her screaming and crying and I rushed over to hug her. "Okay Enid breathe." I said soothingly patting her back reassuringly.

Damn another crying girl in one day.

"Ajax." She gasped gulping between her sobs. "he stood me up." Tears stained my shoulder leaving a huge wet patch on my blazer.

"okay enid steady your breathing. In and out." I said gently breathing along with her and her sobbing became quieter and less extreme.

"i'll be back with my laptop and some sweets soon." I backed out the doorway blowing her a kiss.

Not before I go deal with ajax.

I was blinded by the fury and rage I was feeling against my best friend. "Ajax!" I yelled banging on his bedroom door loudly.

After a while I ran out of patience and swung open the door bursting into his dorm. "ajax!" I yelled even louder searching around the whole dorm.

Then I heard the shower running and poked my head around the door eyes closed. "Ajax. Turn the shower off and talk to me." I yelled into the loud heavily condensed bathroom.

The shower turned off and I backed out and sat on his suprisingly comfy bed.
He came out with a towel around his waist and jumped so high when he saw me.

My eyes widended at his half naked state and I turned away so abruptly heat rising to my cheeks, staining them
a vibrant pink.

"why would you stand my sister up." I said angrily still not looking at him. "Dont tell her, I wanna tell her myself but it was an accident." I turned to him looking at his face so I didn't blush so profusely again.

"tell me more." He didn't look at me back though scared if he would stone me or something. "I stoned myself. My towel fell off my mirror and when I opened the shower curtain I turned to stone." He looked down embarrassed with himself and my anger subsided.

"don't be embarrassed it happens." no evelyn it doesn't you dumbass. "i'm sorry for getting so angry at you but just don't hurt her anymore." I stood up and left.

wow he looks cute without a shirt.

No. no. nope. were not going down this road this isn't some dumb romance book were not doing bestfriends to lovers here.

Get. It. Out. Your. Head.

I walked up to ophelia hall with a bowl of sweets and my laptop. "what do you wanna watch." I said wrapping my arm around enid as she leant on my shoulder.

"uhm. wandavision." She smiled at me and I smiled back. "good choice!" I went on Disney + and turned on wandavision.

"don't let him get in your head he doesn't deserve you." I kissed her forehead gently.

"I'll find someone else to go with." she smiled confidently and I smiled proudly. She's definitely not over it but she will be soon.

slightly shorter chapter but I hope you don't mind the other ones will be longer.
