𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐃,, 𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐱 𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐬

𝟎𝟏𝟒. 𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐊𝐒

I woke up in the nurses office lying on an uncomfy bed. Enid sat by my side holding my hand tapping her feet nervously on the wooden flooring.

How can I get mad at this girl. She may have been a bitch but she's my sister. Ajax however, never forgiven.

I gave her hand a comforting squeeze and she looked at me her worry melting away into a huge grin. She wrapped her hands around my neck and hugged me tightly.

"why did you throw yourself under that tree," she sobbed into my jumper. I didn't throw myself into a tree, I threw myself into the way of a falling tree.

"to save my sister who couldn't possibly hold a tree above her head, unlike this bitch," she giggled and nuzzled her head further into the crook of my neck.

"If i was in human form I wouldn't have been able to hold it above me," I looked around and saw no parents shaking their heads or crying because of me. Enid stepped back lifting her head.

"they left." she said blankly but she shook her head at them even though the wouldn't know.

"Enid there you are!" ajax burst into the room and hugged her tightly holding the back of her head. I tilted my head and raised my eyebrows.

"get out." I snapped at him and he let go of her giving me a confused look.
"no, this is a public area evelyn you're not entitled to it," he shook his head and grabbed Enids hand holding it tightly.

"you wanna go beanie boy? I lifted a whole tree I could pick you up and throw you out the window easily," I smirked at him rolling my eyes as he gave me a stink eye.

"now, as I said...get out!" I yelled get out loudly making him jump slightly. "baby maybe you should go," Enid turned to him and he rolled his eyes and kissed her forehead. He left the room muttering things and cursing me.

I sat up as the nurse came over to me. "you're free to go, you do have a broken rib and i've bandaged up while you were unconcious," the nurse smiled and I got out of the bed.

that was it? a rib?

I bolted out of that place as soon as I could it stank like vinegar and blood and it made me nauseous. I ran up to my room and attacked thursday from the back wrapping my arms around her stomach.

"you're okay thank god!" she turned around and hugged me back smiling into my shoulder. "it was just a broken rib no biggy," I pulled her backwards and smiled.

"okay well class is in 30 minutes," she left with her handbag on her shoulder waving before she fully closed the door.

I dug around in my dresser and pulled out a plain black short sleeved t-shirt with white cuffs and put it on my body. I then put on some black fishnet tights and layers my ripped blue jeans on top of that.

Somethings missing. I looked in the mirror and studied it before running over to my jewellery box. I rumaged around causing the metal to clink and the sound to echo around my room, that was drowning in silence.

I then came across a silver ring which was simple in shape with a small pop out lotus flower on the top.

I ran out onto my balcony and threw it as far as I could my lips parting and a sensation washing over me.

Ajax gave me that ring when we we're 14. I wanted nothing to do with it now.

I instead slipped on a ring that was gold with pop outs of the moon incrusted with little white gemstones on my thumb.
