"But I've been shot," you whined, pouting whilst resting on your Favorite beam. Arcee sighed as she tapped her foot on the ground below your ledge. She wanted to check your wounds and wash them. You didn't want to because it stung, and you'd rather just sleep it off.
"And you're not going to get better if those wounds become infected," she scolded. You huffed as you sat up and stared down at her. "Get down here now," Arcee ordered. You poked you tongue at her, teasingly, defiantly, there was no way for her to reach you and there was no reason for you to come down.
A shiver went down your spine as a grin crept across Arcee's face. You watched as she held her hand up to her ear and made a call, "sorry about not picking you up, I've had cat problems, could you bring, it?" Arcee asked, emphasizing the it. You were intrigued, what was the it.
"Your 'it' isn't going to make me come down," you huffed at her.
"We'll see," Arcee grinned at you. You laid back down, you were certain you had outplayed Arcee. All you needed to do was wait until Arcee was called on a mission and sneak out, easy as stealing a life from a con.
A single eye opened as Bumblebee and Bulkhead drove into base, Jack stepped out of Bumblebee and looked up to the beams where you were resting. "Did you get it?" Arcee asked Jack.
Jack smiled at Arcee as he held up a paper bag. The smell drifted to your nose. A cheeseburger. No, it was a double cheeseburger with bacon and there were two of them. Your mouth watered as you could practically taste the side of chips and chicken nuggets. You pounced to your feet staring at the bag of food below. "That's got the cats attention," Arcee chuckled.
"No, it doesn't," you scoffed as you turned your nose upwards. You knew this was a bait and you were no fish. But the smell was heavenly. You opened a singular eye to stare downward at the human and autobot that grinned at you.
"Come on Cat, it's just a bandage change and disinfectants are needed so the wound doesn't become infected," Arcee sighed, "and you can have food in exchange," she reasoned. She just wanted to make sure you were healthy; she knew that the depth of the bullets was slowing your healing and may become infected if it wasn't treated.
You jumped down, wincing from the sharp pain as you landed. The bullets were by far the worst wound you had suffered. You didn't want to admit it, but you were thankful for Arcee blocking the second shot. "Come on," Arcee chuckled as she led you into the infirmary.
You groaned as the wounds ached from almost every single movement you made, jumping up onto the gurney took a lot. "What happens if you shift whilst injured," Jack asked as Arcee began to unwrap and dress the wounds, you hissed as she dabbed rubbing alcohol into the wounds. "Whatever was in that bullet was corrosive, your skin is corroding," Arcee said. It was like two large raw blisters.
"And to answer your question, if I shift in this condition, I will tear open the wound due to the shifting process and the wounds will be larger in my winged form," you explained. "Ow," you yelped as Arcee bumped the wound.
