As soon as I opened the door to my room, my sister rushed to me desperately. "You are late!" She said sternly.

"Late? For what?" I asked, throwing my bag on the bed and heading towards the bathroom to freshen up.

"Nothing as such. I just have something important to tell you." She said.

I returned whipping my face with the towel. "What is it?" I sat on the bed looking for my homework book.

"You know our father's sister?"

"Fui. Yes, what did she do?"

"I think she saw me with Anand."

"Who?"

"My boyfriend, dumb."

" Oh, so that's your boyfriend's name. Nice name by the way. "

" Mira? " My sister looked at me pouting. " You are missing the point here. "

" Right. Fuck! What the-" I jumped on the bed. "How did this-? You should have been careful. Now, what will we do? What if- what if she said everything to dad?"

"Sit down first." Sis pulled me down.

"Where did she see you?"

"In the food court. We were working."

"Working?" My eyes widened and a sigh of relief left my mouth. "That's it. No holding hands, no laughing, nothing, right?"

"No."

"Phew! That's a relief. You almost pushed my heart out of my chest. "

" But-"

I clenched her hand and pressed it warmly. "Don't worry. Even if she sees you, holding hands, or anything, I don't think she will do anything of that sort. After all, her son had a love marriage. So calm down. Okay? "

We sat silently for the next few minutes and then headed for dinner.

"How're things going on Misha? Is everything good in the office? " Dad asked. Somehow the question made sis panic. She might have thought that fui had complained about what she saw and stuff.

To ease her, I changed the subject. " Dad, let's go somewhere for a trip. " Honestly, I am in desperate need of a vacation from all the chaos happening in the college.

"No." He started eating his food and didn't talk at all while dining. What was I even expecting? It has been over two years now, we haven't gone on a family outing. Anyways, at least I was able to twist his attention from sis.
