[Law's POV]

The new year has begun.

Last year was a full on ride. Sabaody, Marineford, The plan, Meeting her..

Falling in love.

For the first time, I don't want to end my life after I settle my revenge.

I could have an image of a future after all these years. A future with a certain two-toned eyed person.

Anyways, it's time for the annual crew meeting where I will discuss all the reports with the three teams and what'll be the plans for this year. Then, I have to figure out a way on how can I be a "Warlord of the Sea".

From the latest information on News Coo, only one slot in unfilled at the moment. Some person who claimed to be the son of 'Whitebeard' recently got promoted as a Warlord.

He definitely seems like a fraudster.

"Here's your coffee, Law-San." Heartbeat-ya comes inside the room with two mugs in her hand

I kiss her forehead and take the mug from her. Her cheeks are rosy. She sits next to me, slowly sipping her tea.

" What happened to you?" She asks me
" I'm feeling thankful, today."
"Thankful?"

" Thankful to have you in my life."
" So am I."

She talks about the locations we visit in the Grand Line and the locations for the underworld passages to continue our progress with the main plan.

" I left the maps upstairs though."
" It's okay, bring them in the meeting, Heartbeat-ya."
" As you say, Riceball-San."

" Riceball?"

She blinks, " Oh..I said it because you like to eat them."

" That's true, Heartbeat-ya."

[Few Hours Later - At the Crew Lobby]
[Law's POV]

Everyone is present here.

It's time for the plan to begin.

" Guys, it's time to discuss the reports that all the teams shared me." I say

I read out the summarised version of the report, sharing my comments on where we all can improve in.  The team leaders and vice-leaders note down the pointers I shared. Bepo was struggling to write on the tiny notebook, Y/N-ya snatches the notebook quickly and started to write.

" And I hope that everyone will work to be stronger, faster and be a better version of ourselves."

The crew applauded on the words.

" Now, I want to discuss about something. It's very important." I add

" Are you both getting married?" Shachi asked

" Oi! What are you saying?" Y/N shrieked and punches him hard with her powers

" That hurts, Y/N-Chan!"

I laugh it off and continue, " So, the plan is that I have to become one of the 'Warlords of the Sea'."

" Warlord of the Sea?" The members murmu
" If we need safe passage to the 'New World', this is the most optimal plan I have." I say

" It's a smart idea." Hakugan, the helmsman commented
" So, how do we proceed with it,Captain?" Penguin asks me

I point at an island on the map held under Bepo's paws

" The plan is to get here and we'll do a midnight slaughter of a hundred pirates." I hint with a smirk

" We'll Kill them?" Y/N-ya asks

" Captain, some of us are doctors, as per the oath we have taken.." one of the members added

" I understand the concerns. So, instead of a night of slaughter, we'll knock them out, sedate them for a good period of time and I'll steal their hearts and drop them at the Marines Headquarters. We'll even give them the location of the pirates and with this, the promotion will be in our hands."

The crew gives some confused expressions.

Guess, I have to explain it again.

I explain the plan again, simplifying  my  words to make the plan more digestible to them.

" Do you have any doubts?" I ask them

" Captain!" Jean Bart says
" Yes, what do you want to say?"

" Tell us the truth." He says
" What truth?" I rebuke

" You are hiding something from us. I was a captain once, and my experience says you are hiding something from us."  He elaborates

I sigh.

I hid this to them for a long time. The boys deserve to know the truth now.

I nod, " Honestly speaking, it's a part of a bigger plan, and the end goal of it is...

"REVENGE"

" Who is that person?" Uni asked
" We'll beat him for you..Just say his name." Another member promises

I don't want you all to get into this mess. It's my problem after all. I have to keep all of the crew away from it.

Even my Heartbeat can't get into this.

" Heavenly Yaksha, Joker, Donquiote Doflamingo." I say

All the members except her and the three musketeers freeze.

" Are..You..serious, Captain?"
" What did he do to you?"

I pause, " It's a long story but in simple words, he destroyed my life and I wanna destroy everything he created...From Sabody to..

"His whole business, Dressrosa and at the end....

"I want him dead. In my hands."

The crew gets silent. Absolute, pin-drop silence. I feel everyone's nervousness and fear.

After all, he's not only dangerous person to deal with. His crew is filled with equally dangerous individuals that I know of.

" Don't worry guys, we'll figure it out." I reassure them

" Captain, we'll support you." Bepo tells
" We'll put everything on the line for you." Jean Bart says

Other members change their expressions to somewhat confident.

" We'll be there for you." The crew shouts

I sigh with relief.

My second family will be there for me after all.

I adjourn the meeting, the members leave the lobby. Y/N-ya holds my hand.

" Law-San, you are not alone now. I'll be there with you." She whispers
" I know, my heartbeat."
" And I'll be there down in the Underworld to stop you doing anything stupid." She says with a pout

" Like that one time in the Pleasure District..."
" HEY!" She punches my chest and blushes

" Alright, Alright, I won't do that again. Unless, you want it on the bed over here." I say with my arm above her waist

Her eyes look away, " Stop being Naughty, Law-San!"
" You make me feel like that, Heartbeat-ya." I say with a kiss on her cheek

She smiles a bit with a slight melt on my heart.
