Sister Claes - My Next Life as a Villainess

Meeting

--At the palace----

"Why did she deny my engagement proposal?" Geordo asked himself. He thought any girl would be pleased with a marriage proposal from a prince. That of course brought a small hit to his ego. As soon as he left the Duke's mansion, all he could think about is why Catarina turned him down, even her sister brushed in. Well she did say she'd just need a bit more time or at least that Duchess Claes told me. 

Prince Jeffery heard about the whole astrange and went over to Geordo to ask if everything was okay. Geordo ended up telling his eldest brother, that he's fine and can return to his room.

Geordo started walking around. He ended up bumping in to Alan. Conveniently he also heard what happen and when he saw him he started laughing. Geordo was confused.

"Wow! The amazing Geordo Stuart was turned down for a marriage proposal." Alan said while laughing a little in between. Geordo was not amused.

"I wasn't turned down, just was told that Lady Claes needs time to think." Geordo just said while leaving.

-----At the mansion----

Lilly was scene with Catarina and Keith outside. There all helping with Catarinas garden. Even if Catarina has Lily, she still wants a back up plan and a nice vegetable garden. Although, recently many of the vegetables have been wilting. They finish up and clean and get changed. As they head in for lunch, Mother and father were talking. As Lilly rushes in as she took a little too much time talking with her maid Charity.

"My apologies for my tardiness, mother and father." Lilly curtsies and a butler pulls back a chair for her. She thanks them as they leave.

"Not an issue at all Lilly. We were just discussing your sisters well possible engagement." Mother spoke while everyone has all started eating. Catalina eating with no manners and Keith eating with quite dignity. I smile.

"Oh that reminds me Catarina was invited to a tea party, Catarina how does that sound?" Father spoke while trying to change the subject.

"HUN THERE IS POSSIBLY NO WAY WE CAN JUST HAVE HER GO BY HERSELF, JUST LOOK AT HER, SHE HAS NO MANNERS AT ALL." Mother snaps back. I watch and remember this reminds me of when Catarina brought mother and father closer together after Keith came to the palace and looked way too much like father, she spoke and cleared the air. Now we're much more of a loving closer family. Although I remember that Keith eventually failed in love with Catarina in the anime. I guess we'll see what happens.

"Well why not have Keith and Lilly join. Catarina could learn from this event." Father returned and mother sighed and agreed.

I smiled but then frowned. Wait this is where Catarina meets Mary. I'll have to make sure to be there as well. Catarina already isn't currently engaged to Geordo. So, hopefully that helps in not having the entire harem of Catarina. If I'm being quite honest. I'd rather her figure out her feeling for herself, although it would help if the entire cast isn't entirely in love with her may be just friends that adore her instead. I think we can do that.

---Later at the tea party---

We all introduced ourselves and suprisengly everyone was quite kind. At least at first, I thought to myself. As we entered after greeting our host, eyes looked at Catarina. Keith and I stared back, we ended up walk to a quiet corner. A few ladies ended up coming.

"Oh wow are you the lady Catarina? The one that turned down the prince Geordo." One lady spoke up. I looked really puzzled, this was the opposite that happened in the anime. Although, I did presume this as Catarina did ask for some more time to decide on the engagement. 

"I didn't turn him down, I just needed more time to think." Catarina spoke up.

"Well I dont know about you but I would've said yes in a heartbeat. Such a shame he asked you." The same lady spoke. Keith and I now looked furious but Catarina just looked confused

I spoke first before Keith. "Hey sister, I'm getting pretty hungry, why don't we go look at the desserts?" Catarina smiles and her and I left, as I dragged Keith along.

"Please don't eat too many sweets, you two." Keith spoke to both of us as I take one slice of cake. 

"I won't." I say as I whip my mouth. Catarina is just chowing down. I stop her by her 3rd sweet.

"Hey why don't we go walk around." I say to Keith and Catarina and they both nod. We try, well mostly me getting to the gardens. It really is as beautiful in the anime. Catarina quickly notices Mary and Keith and I rush over as well.

"Oh, Lady Catarina,Lady Lilly, and Master Keith. What are you all doing out here?" Mary Hunt spoke.

"We were just walking around and saw this beautiful garden, your gardener must be very skilled at the craft." Catarina spoke.

"Yeah, as sister said its very beautiful." I agree and Keith nodded.

Mary Hunt blushed. "Oh is that so, well I'm actually the gardener. Thank you so much." 

Before Catarina could say anything. I quickly spoke up. "Lady Mary thats wonderful. If you don't mind me asking Catarina owns a little vegetable farm and if I remember correctly. There's been a few issues with some of the plants. If you don't mind we'd love to have you over to inspect and may be give us some tips." 

Lady Mary and smiled. "That would be lovely to be over at the Claes Mansion." 

We all smiled and eventually finished talking and left to go home.
