Sophia + Nicol + Katarina Short

Katarina POV

I was excited because today Sophia, Nicol, and I were going out shopping. Sadly Lily was a bit too occupied for preparing for the next year as well as Keith. Sophia takes my hand and we enter the village in our disguises, Nicol trailing along. After we got the new book...

"Oh I almost forgot let me go get something. Please stay here with my brother." Sophia spoke.

"Interesting." I spoke. "Indeed" Mater Nichol responded.

"Thank you Lady Katarina for your kindness to my sister." He spoke.

"Not a problem if I'm being honest I'm glad to be with her as well." Katarina spoke and Nichol smiled his devilish smile. Katarina stood but almost fell.

Nicol to my suprise came up and hugged me. "Even if you decide to marry someone else, I will always love you." I passed out.

Then I woke up and Lady Sophia and Master Nicol helped me up. I forgot everything that just happened after I got back from the bookstore I wined in my head.

We decided to go for a walk while we were out go look around. It was quite beautiful all the open fields. We just talked and laughed together. Sophia suprised me with some sweets she bought in town at one of the bakeries. We all shared them and talked.

We ended up by this beautiful lake, we decided to sit down and enjoy it.

"Ahhh summer break is so lovely." I say as I'm relaxing on the grass.

"Agreed its so much fun hanging out with you and the others!" Sophia said sitting next to Katarina and smiling.

"I'm a bit nervous for our next year but I'm sure it'll be alright." I say now a bit worried.

"Well we have to festival coming up the student conseil runs it and its every 2 years so we can enjoy it. My brother said he'll even come. Oh that reminds me are you going to join the school play?" Sophia smiled excitedly with starts in her eyes. 

"I'm not in the student conseil so no." Katarina said.

"Aww but please everyone would love it if you were in it!" Sophia begged.

"How about when it gets closer, I'll help out." I offered and Sophia just agreed.

"That reminds me, Katarina are you still holding off on Prince Geordos engagement offer because you don't want to be with him or unsure." Sophia asked as if this was her plan all along.

"Hmmm, if I'm being honest I don't think I'd be a good prince consort. I can barely pass as a dukes daughter and I know Geordo is just using me so he can deny any other engagement offers."  I respond honestly.

Nicol looked at Katarina. "If you decided to choose him, I'm sure you'd do great as a prince's consort." He said a little upset but you can't tell exactly.

Sophia spoke up, "But of course there's always my brother then you won't have to be a prince's consort!" 

I look at her a bit confused perhaps she read one too many romance books like me. Why in the world would Nicol like me.

We decided to head back. I thank them and give Sophia a hug before I leave. Today was so much fun I can't wait to tell Lilly and Keith.

"And then Sophia said the funniest thing, If I didn't want to be a prince's consort. I can have Nicol." Katarina said then laughed a little.

Keith just held his hand. I spoke before he could.

"I don't think she was joking." Lilly decided to push.

Keith then covered Lillys mouth she started fighting back without using her magic.

"No its nothing just forget about it." Keith spoke and I just watched. I have such amazing siblings.

Lilly ends up using her wind magic to push Keith's hand off of her mouth. Lilly then kisses Keith's head then runs away as Keith blushes massively and goes run after her. I laugh and head back to my room return to my bed for the night.
