Tea Party 1

Sister and I spoke to mother and father about the situation. 

"How dare she threaten our daughter." Mother spoke and I just listened.

"Katarina, do you even want to marry Prince Geordo?" Father spoke looking at Katarina.

"I'm not sure, I'd rather he and I found love on our own before deciding on marriage." Katarina spoke, a now I'm wondering why I'm here. Mother and Father nodded.

"Well we'll discuss more after we're done talking about the tea party. Lily, would you want to attend the tea party?" Mother spoke again, now looking at my with much grace.

"As much as I'd rather not as she did threaten Katarina. I have a feeling that if I dont go it'll look bad to our family name, perhaps I could take Keith and Katarina along." I spoke but mother spoke up.

"Its probably best if you just take Keith with you. I'll have one of the servants get him ready. So, we can discuss more about the situation." Mother reminded me and I nodded.

"Very well, thank you, Mother, Father." I curtsied and left as Ms.Charity quickly got me ready. She put my hair in to a bun and shoved me in a short purple dress. As soon as I was ready, I waited by the carage with Keith. I thought for a long moment, why is this happening?

Once we arrive, Keith and I exit the carage. We're greeted by the Adelaidelo family. Lady Luan is seen wearing a beautiful orangeish-red gown and a young boy wearing a little orange tux of some sort. They both look very beautiful If I'm being honest. I curtsie and Keith bows, us both looking a bit annoyed but pretend to look neutral.

Lady Luan spoke, "I'm suprised you showed up." 

Her brother speaks up, "Lady Luan! My apologies Lady Lily and Master Keith, thank you for attending our tea party today. I'm Master Lian, pleasure to meet you two." He seems to have a slight blush on his face as we pass through.

I look around the beautiful ball room. A huge orange glass chandelier is hanging on the top. There's elegant waves of silk going up and down around the walls. Endless of foods of all kinds. I look at Keith, he looks a bit annoyed, but looks back at me and smiles.

"Sister would've liked the food." I joked and Keith laughed a little then blushed.

"Thats true." He spoke back. I tugged my arm under his arm and linked. Keith blushed a little but smiled as well looked around the beautiful room.

"I guess there pretty rich  if they can afford all of this." As soon as I said this I felt someone touch my other arm and I Keith and I let go. 

Master Lian smiled and spoke to me. "Hello again, Lady Lily. Would you care to dance?" Master Lian hands me his hand and I join in. He was only an inch or so taller than me as we both are still quite young. I wasn't sure how to feel of the brother, whose sister threatened my sister but he seems different kinder. Keith is watching a little annoyed but just stands and looks around.

"You are quite the dancer for our young age." I spoke and we both share a laugh.

"Got to prepare for when we're older. Since I've heard we'll both be at the academy at the same time as our siblings." He spoke and I smiled.

"You also have such a high power that they allowed us in a year earlier?" I dont mean now obviously we both have about 9-10 years before any of that.

"Yes, when I heard you were as well. I thought as may meet you first." He smiled this time a bit more menacingly. "I posses high levels of water magic, how about you?"

"I possess more wind magic." I spoke back a bit more confused. He goes back to a more innocent smile.

Just as we were about to speak some more Keith came over and tapped Master Lian shoulder. "My apologies but I believe there were other guests waiting to meet you." He spoke and Master Lian moved and thanked me for the dance. Keith then offered me his hand and we both started dancing.

"Having fun brother?" I spoke smiling as I now start smelling chocolate.

"Not really, its a bit uncomfortable to be in the same place as the person who threatened Katarina." He spoke and I nodded.

"Yeah but I'm sure she'd want us to try to have a little fun, may be have one of the cakes or something." I speak back and he smiles. Understanding, we both walked over and I handed him a piece of cake and I had one as well. Although I do understand its not very appropriate in noble society, I did give him a spoonful of my chocolate cake. We both laughed for a moment. 

"Thank you, sister." Keith smiled and blushed. I nodded then as we sat and talked time flew bye and we left to head home.

When we return, we see Katarina waiting happily for us waving and we wave back and exchange hugs. As we're all in each other's arms it feels so nice and warm. We all smile as we head inside to wait for our next adventure.
