The entity lowered me down onto the laminate flooring
"So, do you have a name?"
"My names uh- Seek" i stuttered
"My names Figure" it replied shyly "and you have seem to have found my library"
"I think its beautiful" i was being honest with him
"Not so beautiful when theres human blood everywhere is it though, eh?" He said smiling
"You are alright you know, youve got good humour." I said "i thought you were going to have me whole"
"I thought that at first too tbh" Figure said as he leant against his desk
I could already tell we were going to get along.
"Hold on" he sighed as he stumbled over to where a pile of books were all across the floor.
As he was walking, i noticed he was using his hand to guide him where he was going.
Reaching down on the floor feeling for where the books were, he managed to pick up all but one. He trudged over to the closest bookshelf and placed the books down one by one, being careful not to drop them.
"Ah i lost my page " he swore under his breath as he placed a green book on his desk and fumbled for a page.
The book was in braille.
Everything started to make sense now.
His hearing seemed to be amazing as he heard me from all the way across the room before.
Figure let out a long sigh as he sat back down on his desk chair
I did have to get back to my job or else halt would probably go insane at me like usual.
"Hey i might have to go im sorry" i said quietly
"Oh alright then." He said sounding a bit let down
I walked off the stairs and headed back for the door i came through.
"AH" i fell.
I went forwards landing on my front. My leg was throbbing and blood was dripping out all over. There was a shard of broken glass stabbed through.
There was so much blood.
I cried in agony
The pain was unbearable.
Figure rushed over to me frantically not caring hed knocked over the books again.
"SEEK" he sounded worried
He kicked the broken glass that was around me out the way.
"Shit shit shit" he mumbled. Kneeling down to me .
He had something in his hands that he was fumbling with .
I couldnt quite make it out what it was since i had tears in my eyes and i couldnt focus
"You grab my hand okay?" Figure spoke anxiously.
He could hear the blood trickling down my leg.
I grabbed his hand tightly trying to focus on how soft it was instead of my wound.
He had a bandage that he tied around my leg to cut off the bleeding.
I tried to stop myself from screaming by putting my head down and breathing heavily
The entity tied a bandage around my leg to stop the bleeding furthermore
"Here. Take these" he said giving me some pills
Within a few seconds the pain started to get better
"Woah those pills are.. amazing" i said trying to stop myself from choking
"I think its best you stay here" figure said
When i calmed down and my breathing slowed down, figure came closer to me and wrapped his long arms around me in a warm hug. I couldnt help myself from blushing-
I felt safe.
"You okay now..?" He assured as he let go of me, got on his feet and bent down to me, scooping me up with ease and carrying me bridal style over to the sofa up the stairs on the higher bit.
My heartbeat started racing as he was slyly smiling as he gently lay me down. He picked a blanket up from behind and placed it on top of me
"Im in here all the time so when you wake up just call me." He said softly "you need your rest, darl" he giggled as he stumbled around the bookcase to the other side of the stage to his sofa.
I blushed. I know he was probably joking but still oh my god.
