Chapter 1

As Messi walks into the stadium, his head held high as he took a glance at Ronaldo in the crowd next to Neymar. He felt his blood boil in anger, he could've been next to anyone and he chose to be with him! But that didn't ruin Messi's confidence. When the game started, Messi goaled 2 points as IShowSpeed screamed against the crowd. Suddenly Mbappe scored 2 goals in 2 minute and started to get Messi worried. After long hours Argentina won and Messi was shrieking in happiness, he looked for Ronaldo but he wasn't to be seen. As the stadium slowly got emptied, Messi was worried he had got Ronaldo mad so he left the stadium and checked the bathroom to see the most horrifying thing of all time. Ronaldo and Neymar were in it together laughing away to Messi memes.

''Messi.. what are you doing here?'' Ronaldo stutters as he stares into Neymar's eyes in confusion.

''Just forget what you saw, we were just mad that we lost the world cup mate.'' Neymar says.

Messi stands in disbelief, how could Neymar do this? And most importantly how could Ronaldo do this? It seemed as if Ronaldo was falling into Neymar's trap, or worse, liked him.

''Did you win the world cup?'' Ronaldo mutters.

Those words were like knifes getting stabbed into him, first they did this and second they didn't bother watching, he put all his energy and effort into this, not just for him, but for them, for their loss.

''You didn't even watch? I did this for you, for us! And you laugh away like i'm nothing to you while i am actually trying my hardest to make you proud!''

''Wait!'' Ronaldo tried to explain but Messi had ran off, tears in his eyes. Messi ran as fast as he could with his Ballon d'or but it was too slow, Ronaldo had chased after him and was shocked to see he had actually won.

''Messi,'' he gasped ''I am deeply sorry, i betrayed you, i betrayed the true.. the true GOAT!''

Messi pauses in his steps, did Cristiano Ronaldo call a shawty like him the GOAT? He couldn't keep in his joy.

''Me? Lione Messi a goat?'' he questions, blushing.

''..Yes, you are the true goat, these Ronaldo vs Messi rivals are just jokes because you are the GOAT!'' Ronaldo chuckles.

Ronaldo walks closer, Messi blushes harder excited for the thing about to come, but his excitement went downhill when Ronaldo starts admiring the Ballon d'or. Messi smiles as he realises how close their faces were, they could've kissed but Messi lost his chance when Ronaldo backs up.

''Congrats, bro! You'll make your wife proud!'' He says as he slaps his back.

His smile faded away. Wife. He has a wife and 3 children, he couldn't just give them up for him. The two had a quick chat and then went their own ways. As he arrived at his doorstep, he sighed before going in and seeing his 3 children and wife all gathered up.

''Oh honey, so you did win, you've made us so proud!'' His wife shrieks.

''I did this all for you, for us, now i know i'm the true GOAT!'' Messi says.

''Now where is the money?''

''Its in my account babe.'' and with that Messi walks off.

As he lays on his bed, things slowly started to come together, his wife was a gold digger and all she wanted was money, or maybe he was just trying to find excuses to leave her, but what if Ronaldo was just trying to comfort him? Ronaldo couldn't possibly be gay, he was homophobic, wasn't he? Almost immediately, he fell asleep as his thoughts gave him a headache.

When he woke up the next day, he got one thousand messages from someone, Neymar. His chats were him apologising over and over again, Neymar was Messi's homie and he couldn't stay mad at him for too long so he replied with a ''I forgive you but just don't do it again.''. He got up from his bed and went into the living room, everyone was already gathered waiting for him.

''Honey are you feeling well? You don't look to good,'' His wife said, nervous.

''I don't feel well, maybe i'm just really tired.'' Messi replied, sitting down ready to eat.

''Don't worry dear, just rest for the day okay?''

''Thank you sweetie.'' he says as he takes small bites of the cooked egg in front of him
