It had been a week since onika moved into my lovely home. It's been great honestly we've caught up on things that have been going on in our lives, everything other than Meeks dumb ass.
I knew onika shouldn't had been with that nigga, he always had her close.
She was right, he had been a very good guy in the beginning but after she got pregnant I rarely heard from her. I never knew that she was being abused, that's how well she hid it. Zaya was in my lap sleep as I was working at my desk. I only left the house to party which was every weekend.
But I'm glad I didn't party last weekend because I would've never had this beautiful soul in my arms today. Onika was at work, she was going back since maternity leave was over.
" yes this is Robyn how may I help you?"
I had a designing company, young designers from all over, design and model for bigger opportunities. I worked from home, but went to the office every now and then. My assistant had transferred a call to me.
" yes this is Megan Pete, I uh am a upcoming designer hoping to show my designs to you personally, mabye come across a job there in your company" I nodded because I wasn't far to reach, it was very common for someone to ask for a job here. I scheduled an appointment for this Wednesday and hung the phone up.
I was finally done for the day, I put zaya in her crib and grabbed the phone to order some food, I knew onika would be here soon. about 20 mins past I heard the key in the door and jumped up.
"Robbieee, zayaaa I'm hereee"
I ran to the door with open arms, " nikaaaa" I hugged her and ran back to grab zaya. " was she a pain?"
" oh hell no she was aunties sweet angle alll day" I booped her little nose. Soon enough we heard the door bell ring and it was our food.
" oh yeah I ordered us some Wendy's, I couldn't think of anything else that you might enjoy" she grabbed the food from the delivery man. " aww Robbie thank you, it's been a long day, I'm just glad I get to see my support system"
" you know it" I replied.
I got a text from one of my best friends, Beyonce:

" hey uhh nika can a couple friends come over, they won't be long and I'll tell them don't bring the goods" I asked being considerate, her baby was here, we didn't need any thing going down.
" Robbie this is your house, of course" she said while grabbing a towel from the closet, she went to take a shower."
