**As the school day went by, the time came to go visit Jimin. Everything was going through my head right now. Was this my place? Was Jungkook really fine with it? What if something was wrong? Was he angry with me?
"Ready"? My thoughts were cut off. "Yeah sure" I replied with a slight smile. We started walking to Jungkooks car and not even five minutes later we were there.
"Okay, let's go then" Jungkook said while taking off his seatbelt. "Wait" I stopped him. "I think I should do this alone...you know? I'm closer to him and I don't want to rub THIS in his face or anything" I added.
He smiled before agreeing. I sighed and got out of the car, walking towards his door step. "You got this" I whispered to myself before knocking.
No answer. I waited a few seconds before knocking again. No answer. I frowned.
As I was about to knock for the third time, the door opened just a crack, enough for me to see half of the face of a grown man, which I guessed to be his father. I had never met Jimins parents, and he never talked about them either.
"Yeah?" The deep voice said blankly. "Hi, uh Mr.Park I assume? I'm Y/N I'm a friend of—"
"What do you need kid?" He cut me off. My eyes widened slightly at his tone. "Is Jimin here? I need to talk to him" I carefully stated.
"What for?" He questioned, the angry tone still in his voice. "Well I haven't seen him in a while and I guess I just wanted to see if he was—"
"He's fine, now get lost" the man growled before shutting the door in my face. I was left in complete shock. I hesitantly turned around and walked back to the car.
I got inside and just stared out in front of me. "What happened? He wasn't home?" Jungkook questioned. "No idea." I blankly blurted out, before looking at him. "Frankly I have no idea what just happened"
He frowned before speaking "What? Who was it?" I shook my head. "I believe I just met Jimins father for the first time and...man I have no idea how those two can be related!" I blurted out in disbelief.
I told him about the conversation and he thought it was just as odd as I did. I was left in my thoughts for a few seconds, thinking about what to do. I looked at the time before speaking.
"Jungkook take me to Jin's house" I stated as I put on my seatbelt. "What? I think he will reach out when he's ready you don't—"
"Nonono I'm not seeing him, its Wednesday after school he's at the gym. Just drive" I commanded him. He was confused but he agreed. We reached his house, and I told Jungkook to just go home.
We said our goodbyes and I walked towards the door. I rang the doorbell and the door opened not long after.
"Hi" I said with a smile. "Oh Y/N! Honey what are you doing here?" Jin's mom exclaimed while pulling me in for a hug. I hugged her back, sighing in relief. "I just needed my bonus mom" I chuckled.
And that's exactly what she was. My parents were gone all the time, and Jin's family would often take care of me. Our families would go on vacation a lot, and we were all pretty much just a big family.
She was probably one of my favourite human beings on the entire world.
She pulled away and smiled at me. "Come on in sweetie" I walked in and sat down on a bar stool in the kitchen. She followed behind, walking behind the counter getting a cup. "I haven't seen you in a while, everything okay?" She asked, making tea.
I sighed. "No, not really" I chuckled, but she knew I was serious. She gave me a reassuring smile before I continued.
"I don't really know how to tell you all this but me and Jin... well we—" I stopped myself, not knowing how to put it. "Jin told me" she stated. My eyes widened. "What did he tell you exactly?" I slightly panicked.
"Exactly what you think he told me" she continued, handing me a cup of tea, leaning against the counter. "So you know then....you know everything" I said awkwardly.
She sighed. "I do, which I definitely didn't need to but" she chuckled while I put my hands in front of my face in embarrassment. She laughed again, before continuing.
"Look sweetie, I have seen you two go through arguments before. Many of them in fact. A lot of them do involve some sort of candy but still, you always made up. Jin just feels hurt right now, and you and I both know he doesn't always know how to handle big news like that, he needs time to process." She softly spoke.
I looked down at my tea, listening to her words. "But he forgave Namjoon" I mumbled with a small pout. "And that wasn't easy for him. I'm thrilled he has someone like him in his life, he deserves that. But honey, you have to know he isn't happy without you either" she took my hand.
"In reality he is just as sad about not having you around like you are without him. And Jimin too" she smiled. I sighed and just hugged her again. "I don't know what to do" I whispered into her arms.
"You two just have to talk, it'll be okay" she whispered back. I sighed in relief. She just had this softness in her voice, making everything believable and reassuring.
"You have known Jimin a while right?" I asked after pulling away. She smiled wide. "Ever since he was a kid" She exclaimed .
"Sooo does that mean you know his parents?" I asked curiously. Her smile faded, followed with a sigh. "Unfortunately I do. I wish I could say I didn't" I frowned. "Why?"
She mixed around in her tea. "Many reasons. Why are you asking honey?" She questioned. "I think I met his dad today" I answered. She shook her head. "Well I guess you already got the impression of what he's like. He isn't a good man Y/N. And his mother doesn't stand up for her own son. I have never liked those two" she spat.
"Why isn't he a good man?" I continued. I could tell she didn't want to talk about it but I was too curious now. "He doesn't care about anyone but himself, and he does whatever it takes to get his way. There were some rumours a while back that he hit Mrs. Park once, but I don't know if it's true" she blankly stated.
My eyes widened and I couldn't believe what she was saying. Poor Jimin, no wonder he didn't talk about his parents. "I'm going to leave it at that" she started. I nodded.
"Now, drink your tea, and tell me everything else that's going on in your life" she continued and smiled. I returned the smile, and told her everything on my mind.
**
An hour later I left Jin's house. I started walking towards one of the places I felt the most free. The dance studio. Dance had always been an escape for me. Just a way to get all emotions out into something positive.
I opened the door to the studio and took a deep breath. My phone buzzed and it was a picture from Jin's mother. It was a photo of me, Jin and Jimin in 7th grade. I didn't know if I wanted to smile or cry, or both. I sighed. "More motivation I guess" I mumbled to myself.
I took of my jacket, played some music and started warming up. I closed my eyes, just enjoying the feeling. After a little while I was ready to dance, and so I did. I practiced my routine that I had with Jungkook, as well as a lot of improvising. And the hour flew by.
I laid on the floor when I was done, just staring at the ceiling and panting. My eyes closed again, and and i tried to empty my mind.
"Nice job" I heard from the door and I quickly shot up from the floor, just staring at the person in front if me.
