Little Weird Girl

Y/N POV.....

I slam my hand lazily on my bedside clock shutting off the alarm, I hate only a few things in life and one of them is Mondays. But the day I hate more than Monday is Wednesday, I've recently moved to Houston two months ago and it's been tiring trying to adjust to a new environment and a new school plus work. But one thing that makes this all easier is my new friends, Kelly and Lauren!

The three of us share first period together and the two girls has been kind enough to not only show me around but also befriend me, Lauren thought it'll be cool to introduce me to the rest of her friend group so she came up with this idea of having a big sleepover so we all can get to know each other.

So after I get up take care of my hygiene and getting dressed I pack an overnight bag for the sleepover then grab my backpack and head for school. As I head to my locker to put my stuff inside I see Lauren and Kelly as they come up too me

"So are you ready for tonight?" Lauren asks

"Yeah I'm pretty excited!"

"Good! And btw you don't have to worry about nothing everyone is pretty nice and chill"

"Yeah and at lunch you can just sit with us so we can get all the formalities out the way"

"That's fine with me!"

"Great now let's go get breakfast before the bell rings!"

And at that we walk in the direction of the cafeteria, I usually don't eat school food to much but today they're having that breakfast pizza that's sooo fuckn good. And I'm not missing out on the only good thing the school serves. After eating breakfast we head to class

~skip to lunch~

I walk out of my forth period class and to my locker putting my backpack inside, then I go to the cafeteria to meet with Lauren and Kelly. I look around looking for them then I see Kelly seating at a table alone, I go to her "what's up Kels!"

"Oh hey boo! The others take their sweet time but they'll be here soon" she says rolling her eyes "but let's grab food!"

This girl says all excited making me laugh. We get in line for a salad (and y'all know how black people can make something healthy like a salad so unhealthy 😂) then Kelly gets herself a wrap that actually looks good then we go back to our table. When we get there I see Lauren and a few other girls at the table now.

"Oh good they're here!" Kelly says "hey guys! So this here is Lauren and i new friend Y/n!

"Y/n this is Onika or Nika or Nicki , Michelle or chelle , Doja, Beyoncé or Bey"

"Hey nice to meet you guys!" I say politely as they all greet me, well everyone except the Beyoncé girl but I choose not to pay attention to it.

"So yn did you just move here?" Onika asks

"No shit Sherlock" Michelle says sarcastically to her

"Michelle shut up your ass don't even know who Sherlock is!"  I laugh at their small banter

"I mean technically I'm not new cause I've been here In Houston for 2 months now. But new to the friend group yes"

"So where are you from originally?"

"(Wherever you wanna be from)"

"Cool"

We continue on with conversation while they all try to get to know more about me. In between of them asking me questions I steal glances at the Beyoncé chick, she is certainly drop dead gorgeous but something about her seems weird. I haven't heard her say anything to me or any of us in general making me wonder what's wrong with her, it could be because she's shy but I don't know.
