Chapter 11

Ana led shaxx to her chambers and sat on her large quilted bed

"So after a whole year you return" she looked up at shaxx who was holding his helmet under his arm

"So it would seem your grace" shaxx looked at his ex lover

She nodded "what help of mine do you need" she poured her self a glass of wine

Shaxx watched in disdain "Zoe is prisoner in triads landing and even your wolf god knows I can't breach the walls by myself"

Ana drunk her wine "I hope you aren't expecting an army Morningstar" she looked out the window "after the war and betrayal of the lions our army was essentially decimated because of the traitors" she drunk again

Shaxx sighed and placed his helmet down on the bedside table and began to take his armour off  "an army would be nice but I do not wish to have a second civil war"

Ana drunk and watched as shaxx stripped his armour off  "good we have the same intentions then handsome"

Shaxx walked over to the edge of the bed and stood in front of the wolf queen "just a few things I need" he grabbed her glass and drunk the wine left inside and then placed the glass down on the floor "for now my queen shhhh" he laid her down and got on top of her and held her hands above her head, "so my queen, how about i strip you off your power"

Ana and shaxx spent all day in the chambers with many concerned hoplites and servants knocking on the door however shaxx and ana dismissed them and continued into the early night

Shaxx laid next to ana completely naked other than a thin silk blanket covering his lower half "me and evaline will need a place to stay whilst we are here"

Ana rested her head on shaxx bare chest and hid her nude body under the blanket "you can both stay here" she looked up at shaxx and kissed his lips

Shaxx kissed her back "thank you ana"  he stood up and began to get dressed

"Where are you going?" Ana sat up and wrapped the blanket around her

"To get evaline and bring her here" he sat on the bed and put his boots on

Ana poured a glass of wine "I could just get a guard to reclaim her"

"I know" shaxx walked out of the room and tightened his sword belt around his waist and he left the royal villa

Shaxx walked down the streets off lupin city and eventually came across the inn that Scott and evaline were drinking at

"And I told my brother to shove it where the sun didn't shine" Scott burst out laughing and struggled to drink a mug of ale as he was drunk

Evaline laughed and saw shaxx "SHAXX" she ran up to him "everything ok?"

"Aye all is good did Scott find his loyalists?" Shaxx looked at Scott now asleep at the table

"He did two hundred to be exact" she smiled at shaxx and sniffed "you reek of wine and eww sweat"

Shaxx smirked "come on we get to stay in the royal villa tonight" he began walking to the villa with evaline walking alongside him

Shaxx and evaline finally arrived at the villa and a servant showed evaline to her room and once evaline laid down on her bed she fell asleep instantly due to drink too much and not sleeping properly for almost three weeks. However shaxx was requested to return to ana's chambers

"Morning" shaxx stood in the door frame of evalines chambers

Evaline shot up from her sleep "huh who what when" she rubbed her eyes

Shaxx smiled a little "queen ana has requested our presence in her main hall and I'm told their is a feast so get dressed in the wardrobe there is a dress it's yours now" he walked off to the main hall and sat down at a great table next to ana

Ana smiled at shaxx "is she awake" she ate her breakfast which consisted of meats and greens

"She is now" shaxx began to eat his breakfast

Evaline walked in with her new blue summer dress flowing in the gentle breeze "your grace" she curtsied towards ana and then sat down opposite shaxx

"You look wonderful my dear" ana spoke with an elegance evaline had not heard since being a maid in the castle in triads landing

Evaline blushed a little "thank you your grace, you look fantastic yourself"

Ana giggled a little "a toga is not my preferred style of clothing however as queen I must uphold a sense of formality"

Shaxx continued to eat his meal and listening to the women talk about clothes

"Me personally I prefer good old armour" ana drunk from a glass this time the glass containing water

Evaline smiled "shaxx has been teaching me how to fight in full plate" she looked at shaxx who appeared to be in his own world

"Ahhh yes he has spoken a great deal about you and he has a gift for you" ana smiled at evaline

"You have free pick of an elvish horse and enough gold to start a life in the imperial continent if you wanted to" shaxx looked at evaline

"Wait you're getting rid of me" evaline sounded hurt and a tear formed in her eye

Shaxx didn't answer he just ate

Ana looked at evaline "no he is not"

Evaline nodded and stood up "excuse me" her voice broke slightly and she walked out of the villa"

"Shaxx do not worry about her she is strong" ana looked at shaxx who was now stood up tightening his sword belt around his waist

"If you'll excuse me i need to go reclaim sky" he left the villa and walked alongside evaline "well done"

"Thank you my lord" evaline was smiling "so why don't you trust her?"

"I trust ana but her advisor I don't trust" shaxx grabbed evalines arm making her stop in her tracks

"Shaxx?" She looked at him scared

Shaxxs face was pale and there was no flame behind his purple eye "something bad will happen evaline and it's gonna be up to you and Scott to recover from what happens" he walked out the entrance to lupin city and headed to the woods to find sky

Evaline watched him walk away with a real tear in her eye
