Chapter 14

"My lord me and my men are at your service" Scott bowed at shaxx who was leaving the inn clad in his armour and with a walking cane

Shaxx nodded "thank you Scott I shall lead the way" he looked at his host of two hundred elves and he walked in front of them all "evaline and Scott with me leading the vanguard"

Evaline adorning her armour stood on the right of shaxx, heater shield in hand and her sword sheathed "my lord" she nodded at shaxx.

Scott stood on the left of shaxx and put his bronze hoplite helmet on then strapped his hopplon shield to his left arm "ready when you my lord"

Shaxx began to limp down the Main Street of lupin city with his host of warriors following him. Eventually shaxx and his army stopped outside the villa walls and were greeted by an opposing host of three hundred clan wolf warriors.

"Shaxx Morningstar in the name of the wolf halt" the elf in charge of this host was an advisor to ana and he was at the head of this army. And wasn't adorned in his armour.

"You are William shattershield you were apparently the best clan wolf warrior" shaxx rested on his cane and stopped in his tracks.

William smirked and looked back at his army then looked back to shaxx "and you are the venerable lord Morningstar, the steel demon, the purple death and I believe the naked knight" he laughed and some of his soldiers did as well

Shaxx nodded and stood right in front of William "I protected my king as was my oath boy" he threw down his cane and pulled his dagger from its sheath and plunged into the stomach of William "miserum" he pulled the knife out and then stabbed Williams stomach over and over till the elf laid on the floor dead.

Williams army took the phalanx formation as did shaxxs host of warriors.

"ENOUGH" shaxx bellowed "move warriors or taste steel"

Williams soldiers all laid down their weapons and bowed to shaxx

"Good evaline and Scott remain here with the army" shaxx walked normally into the royal villa

"So it's true he can heal faster" evaline said with shock

Ana sat on her throne drinking wine "so what next Morningstar?"

"That depends on you my queen" shaxx stood in the Great hall of the villa and stared at his ex lover.

"I trust William and his men lay dead" ana stood up from her throne dressed in her armour with two elvish blades attached to her belt

Shaxx drew his sword "just William"

Ana drew her two kopis's "you bastard" she screamed and charged shaxx

Shaxx deflected her strikes and played defensive where as ana moved fast and consistently attacked

"Ana enough end this maddness" shaxx parried a blow and kicked her back causing her to fall over on the floor. Shaxx then stood over her "you have become a failure"

Ana cried and let go of her swords "why did you leave shaxx"

"Your father took my eye and when I returned for a diplomatic mission you were nothing but a drunk fool" shaxx sheathed his sword

"Because I didn't have you, you were the only thing that kept me going" ana laid there crying

Shaxx sighed "I am sorry your grace" he bowed and left ana in the villa crying
