I laughed when I saw Madison rolled her eyes. "Dra. Keira Miranda Lee, nasa Aurora ka. Don't be late kahit na sasakay ka ng plane papunta rito sa Manila. And please don't fly the Cessna. We want you in one piece. Call any aircraft fleet to fly you here in Manila."
Umirap si Keira. "I am tired na, no? Saka isa pa, Papa banned me from flying the Cessna," nakangusong sabi.
"Wala ka kasing ginawa kung hindi mag-exhibition sa ere, Keira. That one ride we had a year ago, it still haunted me every night!" Amber shrieked. Nanlalaki ang mga mata nito.
"That's enough, girls. Asan si Lana?" I asked when I didn't see Lana's face on the screen.
"I will check on her before I leave. Ayaw sagutin ang tawag ko. Baka nasa farm na naman at ini-inspect ang mga tanim niya," said Keira. She grinned again. "Paano ba 'yan, Sophie? Mauunahan ka na ni Bianca. Baka mag-propose na si Congressman kay Bianca sa birthday niya."
Ikiniling ko ang ulo at nag-isip. Then shrugged my shoulder. "My birthday is three months to go. Saka wala pa sa isip--"
"Wala pa sa isip mo na mag-asawa?" maang na tanong ni Amber. Then, she laughed. "Kawawang Drake. Mukhang mapipikon na pinsan ko sa next reunion namin dahil matagal na niyang nai-announce na magpapakasal na siya. Panay siya imbita sa kanyang kasal pero wala palang bride. Was it two or three years ago?" Napahawak sa baba si Amber.
Inirapan ko ito. Amber and Drake are cousins.
"Hush," saway ko na pinandilatan ang mga ito nang magtawanan. "Moment ito ni Bianca. Her birthday is coming up."
