Ch.7

Today your Sensei has a surprise for you all.

"A mission?!" You all smile in excitement.

"Yes, we are looking for a cat. Socks has been missing for alittle over a week. He's a inside cat so this is a urgent task.."

"At least it's a mission!" You say.

Obito grabs the paper from Minato.

"It's not exactly the best description."

"Can we go see the client?" Kakashi asks. You nod wondering the same thing.

"That's not a bad idea."

"It's just I can use my ninja dogs to hunt down socks and it helps if I have something personal of theirs to find them. My dogs can find him without that but I'm just trying to make it easier."

Minato nods "Sure thing let's go see them."

Once you arrive at the home of socks his distraught owner is happy to know you have all taken on the job. She offers a handkerchief that socks usually wears.

You all watch as Kakashi summons his ninja dogs.

"Pakkun, I need you to help me find a cat...Here." Kakashi let's Pakkun sniff the handkerchief.

"He's pretty cool." You say looking at Pakkun.

Obito steps up beside you to get a look at Pakkun.

"It's just a dog.. I prefer cats.."Obito says turning his nose up at the situation.

"He's a ninja dog not a dog." Kakashi glares.

"I have already picked up on his sent Kakashi." Pakkun says.

Obito looks taken back. "It talks!!!"

You pat Obitos back "Ninja dog."

"This way." Pakkun walks across the yard and picks up the scent leading everyone into the woods.

"Here's your coms." Minato hands each of you your mic. You hook it around your neck and in your ear.

As you all search the grounds Pakkun brings you farther into the woods.

You and Obito check under the same bush and accidentally bump heads.

"Ow, Obito!"

"S-Sorry!" Obito rubs his forehead.

You look around to see everyone spread out.

"It would be so cool to have a ninja dog." You smile.

Obito frowns his brows "I can't believe lame Kakashi has such a thing!"

You laugh. "He's the son of the white fang of course he has ninja dogs!"

"I don't even know who that is and I don't care. Kakashi is lame."

You sigh "Well your not exactly cool like the other side of the pillow."

Obito pouts "I'm pretty cool."

You laugh "Who am I kidding your right."

"Now your just making me feel better." Obito laughs

"I personally think your cool Obito."

Obito blushes "s-seriously?"

You nod "yep."

"O-oh, I think your cool too."

"Hey Pakkun found socks!" Rin waves you two over.

You both walk over to your teammates.

"Where is he?"

Kakashi points up a tree.

"Of course.." sure enough socks is all tuffle fur and dirty sitting in a tree."

"Who's going to get him?" Sensei asks.

You all turn to him.

"Your the tallest." You tell him

He sighs and starts to climb up the tree.

Once he's up to were socks is he grabs the cats tuff around his neck and hoists him down. Socks now sits in your arms.

"I bet your hungry Socks."

"My job here is done. It was nice to meet all of you." Pakkun holds out his paw to Kakashi who shakes it.

"Thanks a lot Pakkun."

With a poof he's gone.

You all make your way back to the owner.

"Socks!!! Thank you soo much!! Come to mummy!!"

The lady takes Socks from your arms and hugs him into her chest. The cat looks miserable.

"Where would we be without Kakashi and Pakkun." Rin says.

Kakashi smiles pleased with the props he's getting.

Obito doesn't look amused but shrugs it off.

"We are glad socks is back home safe." You tell her.

She puts socks in the house and then turns to you dusting herself off.

"Thank you for your help. Here is your payment."

The lady hands a envelope to Minato. He takes it and tucks it in his vest.

"That was fun." Rin says on the way back.

You and Obito put your arms behind your head as you walk.

"It was cool to see Kakashi in action." You smile.

Kakashi gives a eyes closed smile. "It's nothing really."

Minato chuckles "you all did well today, good job."

You and Obito look at each other and smile.

It was a good day.
