A/N: my wattpad is being difficult so I was not able to update chapter three so here it is now.

This chapter is a little shorter but I didn't want this story to be short as the others have been very long and were almost half way threw.

was with Norm and the others as we were about to go into our links.
Grace was showing pictures of each of the clan leaders in the clan.
"Tsu'tey." Grace showed a picture of the young warrior.
"He's the next clan leader." She spoke. She skipped to the next one who was Mo'at.
"Mo'at. She's the current clan leaders wife. She's the spiritual leader, kind of like a shaman." I explained, as I was on the other side of him.
"Got it. So who's this Eywa?" I gasped as Norm and I both looked at Jake, who had ten heads.
"Who's Eywa? Only their diety. The Great Mother. The Goddess made up of all living things, she's like mother nature here like we would have one at Earth. She's real, by the way." I point out to everyone.
"How are you so sure that she's real?" Jake asked.
"I feel her. It's complicated, but somehow I feel her heart beating, I feel connected to her." I explained.
"But you'd know that if u actually studied." I slapped Norm lightly on the arm to knock him off.
"Yea. Well, guess who's friends with the clan leaders daughter." I glared at Jake.
"Knock it off, you two." I warned.
"Netiryi was my best student. She was close friends with Leighton. She had a sister named Silwanin." I looked down, biting my bottom lip.
"I didn't meet the sister." Jake said.
"She's dead." I said, my eyes stared into his blue ones once again.
"Okay, let's go. Village life starts early." Grace spoke, changing the topic.
Jake laced down in his link. Grace was heading over to mine as I was helping Jake get into his.
"Just let me do the talking this time. Please." Jake laughed as I closed the machine and headed over to mine.

************
We were learning how to ride a firehouse today. Jake was on his, as I was standing next to Netyiri.
"This is a shaheylu. The bond. Feel her heartbeat, her breath. Feel her strong legs. " She explains, as Jake was holding the end of his braid that had pink tentical like legs that connect to the Direhorse.
"You may tell her what to do. For now, say where to go." She pats the Direhorse lightly.
"Forward." Jake barely lasted a second until he fell off and into the mud.
"Smooth Marine." I cackled as Jake got up and threw some mud at me, causing me to gasp.
I gathered some mud in my hands only for Tsu'tey and some other warriors in training to stop by.
I stood close to Jake when he grabbed my hand.
"You should go away." Tsu'tey glanced down at our conjoined hands.
"I knew you could speak English." I chuckled a little.

I laughed as he tried to spit some mud out of his mouth.
"This alien will learn nothing, Leah is the only one that was able to see."  Netyiri laughed.
"I see we're still friends." I said to Netyiri, she pats the direhorse as they run off.
"Again." She said to Jake, who hopped back onto the Direhorse.
"Even I was able to ride it the first time, Marine." I  smiled at him.
I never thought that the people would be more my home than the human world. Seeing as though I never met my mother or had a father that cared for, I felt closer towards them as I ever would my own father.
*******
"I can't believe that you face planted in mud." I giggled as Jake and I were talking about the invents that happened today.

"You try riding those damn things.'' He grumbled.
"I have. That's why you're the one who needs the lessons, and I just stand there and watch you fall. Me and Netyiri laugh and gossip about you without your understanding.'' I laughed again, Jake made me stumble over my own feet as I grab hold of his shoulder.

"That was not fair!" I cried out as Jake just held a smirk on his lips.
"How come you and your father dont talk?" I was sitting on my cot as Jake was sitting across from me on his wheelchair.
"My father, he wasn't a good man. He knew I was close to the people, so he'd ask how my day went. I thought he actually cared, but Quarich just wanted a way in. He used me to get to the people, then the school closed and they burned the village. I never forgave him, till this day I still haven't talked to him.'' Tears welled in my eyes as Jake looked at me with guilt.
"I'm sorry." He said. He wiped my tears away as I looked away from him.
''Don't be. It was my fault for thinking that he'd care.'' My voice laced with anger.
"It wasn't your fault. They forgave you. You're amazing, you're kind, you love these people more than anything, and I think they know that.'' I blushed a little at his compliments.
"You think im amazing?" I teased, I sniffle a little as we both chuckled.
"More than amazing." I leaned in about to kiss him.
"You got game, Marine." We both laughed some more as we finally leaned in and kissed.
We finally part after a few minutes of kissing, a smile plastered both of our lips.
''Good night, Marine." I whisper against his lips.
"Good night, Leah.'' Butterflies erupt in my stomach, my father will kill me if I kiss one of his men
