"Wait, so what would your term be?" Evelyn asks.

"What?" I say, filling up my plate with food.

After my night with Keagan, Evelyn and Juliette were eager for me to give an entire report. We meet up a few days later so I can fill them in completely. We walked into the dining hall together to grab some lunch and stand in the lines, filling up our plates now.

"The people who sleep with the players for each sport. Puck bunny for hockey and... what was the other one?" Evelyn asks, closing her eyes to try and remember.

"Lacrosstitute." Juliette chimes in from the other side.

I laugh, hearing the word coming out of her mouth so assuredly.

"Yes, lacrosstitute." Evelyn repeats. "So what is it for football players?"

I consider this for a moment as I grab a packet of silverware.

"You know, I'm not sure there is one." I begin, shrugging my shoulders. "Not one that I've heard at least."

"Jersey chaser?" Juliette asks.

I snort. "I think that is more of a general term for them all."

"Whatever it is, I'm changing your contact in my phone to it when I figure it out." Evelyn says.

I roll my eyes. "I only slept with one of them so far. I don't win your bet unless I try to get with one of his teammates and he puts a ban on me like you said."

We walk over to one of the tables to take a seat.

"Yeah, yeah. You're still one of them." Evelyn says, pointing a celery stick at me.

"Hoop hoes!" Juliette shouts, causing multiple people at the nearby tables to look at us.

She sinks into one of the chairs, mumbling an apology to the people that overheard her.

"For basketball... hoop hoes." she says, quieter this time.

I smile, taking a bite of fruit and considering if I made a bad decision introducing her to these terms now that she seems to be creating new ones for each sport. I look over at Evelyn next to me.

"We'll see if I am able to secure number two tonight." I say, raising my eyebrows.

"You think they'll be at the party?"

I shrug. "I hope so. I'm wearing that nice black dress I have and I'll be pissed if it goes to waste."

"I'll be your wingwoman." Juliette says from across the table.

I scrunch my nose up at her, smiling in appreciation at her offer to help. From beside me, Evelyn shakes her head.

"Don't help her. She must complete this mission on her own."

Juliette nods. "She will, but there's nothing wrong with getting a little assistance."

Evelyn takes a bite of her food. "I guess that's fine. Since I won't be able to attend tonight. But I better get a full report tomorrow."

"Aye, aye Captain."

Later that night, Juliette and I arrive at the party armed in the black dress that I said I was going to wear. We walk over to the counter where the drinks are, sitting on the stools where we have a good view of the door. We talk for a while with no sign of the football guys at the party yet.

Juliette stands up to go to the bathroom and I am sitting by myself when I glance over to the right and see Keagan and his friends walking in. Immediately, I glance the other way so he doesn't see me. If I am going to try and get with one of his teammates, I don't want him to spot me immediately before one of them can.

I glance back over a moment later and see that they have stopped near the door and are talking with one another. Keagan's back is turned towards me so I take the time to check out the guys that he talks with. They're the same two that were with him at the last party. One of them, the tallest one, has long reddish brown hair and stands near the back of the group like he is just listening. The other is blonde with a very intimidating scowl that doesn't seem to disappear from his face even as he converses with Keagan.

The three of them move to another part of the room like one unit, not separating from each other in the slightest and continuing their conversation. I have no idea how I am meant to weasel my way in and talk to one of the other two while avoiding Keagan. If Juliette were here, I would ask her to try and distract the others while I make my move on one of them, but she still isn't back from the bathroom.

I swivel my chair so that I am positioned away from them, fiddling with my nails and trying to come up with what I will say to Evelyn when I have to leave this party without someone and inevitably lose the bet that she challenged me with. Just as I am on the precipice of accepting defeat, someone walks up next to me.

I glance over to see the blonde guy with the scowl that was just talking with the rest of the football guys looking right at me. My jaw almost falls to the floor and I instantly take back everything I thought before, now thinking of all the ways I am about to prove Evelyn wrong.

The guy holds out his hand towards me. "Simon." he says over the loud music.

I take his hand, shaking it lightly. "Kasia. Nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you too, Kasia."

I smile, relishing in whatever I must have done in a past life to give me the luck that I am experiencing in this moment.

"Can I get you a drink?" he asks.

I nod, turning myself on the chair so I am facing him.

"Tell me what you'd like," he says.

    Right now, you. I think.

"How about one of those?" I say, pointing towards the drinks lined up on the other side of the counter.

Simon smiles, nodding his head and walking around the counter to grab me one of the drinks, bringing it back around and placing it in front of me.

"Thank you." I say, opening up the can and taking a sip of the cheap alcohol inside.

He nods, watching my movements with steady eyes.

"I suppose you want a reward." I tease, raising my eyebrows.

"No," Simon says, shaking his head. "I was thinking we could play a game."

I smile, nodding my head. "What kind of game would you like to play?"

He smiles, his eyes looking wicked. "Simon says."

My lips part in disbelief as I watch his eyes graze over me slowly. I feel the smile on my mouth growing with each moment that passes between us.

"How many times have you used that one before?" I ask.

Despite my teasings, I lean closer, closing the gap between us even more. He doesn't shy away and I watch as his eyes flick down to my lips.

Number two secured, and I didn't even have to work for it.
