Chapter Four

Simon

"Hey guys, I think I'm going to head out." I say, getting Henry and Keagan's attention.

"We just got here." Henry says plainly.

I glance over at where Kasia sits, leaning forward against the counter, and nod my head.

"Yeah, well I have a really good reason to leave sitting over there and sipping on the drink I got for her." I say, gesturing towards her.

Keagan's eyes widen as he glances over at her and then back at me, almost choking on his drink. He swallows and puts his hand on my shoulder.

"The brunette in the black dress?" he asks.

I nod. "Yeah, why?"

"That's the girl from the other night that I was telling you about."

"It is?" I glance over at Kasia who sits by the counter glancing down at her nails.

I look back at Keagan standing in front of me. The last thing I want is an issue at the house between us that makes our living situation more stressful than it has to be. I nod my head.

"If it makes you uncomfortable-" I start but am interrupted by Keagan shaking his head.

"No, no it's okay. It's not like she's my girlfriend." he says, shrugging it off. "Go ahead, you can have her."

"You sure?"

Keagan nods. "She mentioned seeing all of us at the party the other night, so she easily could have gone home with you then instead of me."

I nod, turning away from them to walk back towards her. Before I can get far, Keagan grabs me and pulls me back, leaning in to speak quietly in my ear.

"You'll have fun, Simon. She's a wild one, just your type." he says.

I groan, rolling my eyes and walking away. When I near Kasia, her back is facing me and I tap her on the shoulder lightly. She peers around with a smile when she sees me.

"Ready to play?" I ask.

She nods her head, a coy smile playing on her lips. "Sure, but you should know... I'm not very good at following rules."

I smile, grabbing her hand and lifting her off the chair so she is standing in front of me.

"We'll see about that." I say, leading her out of the room.
