Months later...
A new member joins forces with the resistance to bring peace to the world.

Everyone was all here in the resistance, checking in and seeing that everything was conquered by Eggman and Mimic, giving a total of 99.9%.
Metal Sonic came inside the resistance after checking the unfolding event.
Zavok: Metal Sonic! What's the news, buddy?
Metal Sonic: I'm happy to see you're all still safe and alive in one piece. Eggman's forces have chewed through our defenses at Green Hill, and the resistance in the city is reporting that whatever it is that finished Tangle...
Everyone was feeling sad that Tangle didn't make it. She lost against Mimic months ago.
Metal Sonic: Whatever it is has got them running in fear.
The doors opened up, revealing a wolf with her Wispon walking up to the team. She's still silent and can whisper barely.
Metal Sonic: Except for this brave hero, who survived the battle and made it here in one piece. Meet our newest recruit.
Metal Sonic gave Whisper a pat on the back, which startles the wolf from the sudden pat.
Whisper: ...?!
Tails flies next to Whisper, examining her.
Tails: Hmm, doesn't look like much.
Whisper: ...
Metal Sonic: Neither do you, Tails, but I still manage to find a use for your extra tail!
Tails: Teehee.
Metal Sonic: Since you have a Wispon, I'll let you do the honors. We're depending on you.
Whisper: Thank you.
Metal Sonic: Okay, let's get going, everybody! The world's not gonna save itself!
Everyone agreed with Metal Sonic and so, Whisper's adventure has begun.

After receiving an update that Tangle was alive, Whisper made her way to the Space Port to rescue her and escape together.

Whisper was surrounded by a gang of Badniks who are approaching her.
Whisper: No...
Is this the end of Whisper the Wolf? Absolutely not! Because Tangle came just in time to rescue her friend from the Badniks.
Whisper: Tangle.
Tangle: Easy there! Everything's cool.
Tangle helped Whisper up off the ground.
Whisper: Thank you.
Tangle: Are you here to rescue me?
Whisper nodded her head.
Whisper: Yes I am.
Tangle: Can't tell you how much I appreciate it. It's been a while since we met at Spiral Hill Village.
A walky talky rang as Whisper picks up, hearing a call from Metal Sonic.
Metal Sonic: Hey Whisper, you still there in one piece?
Tangle: Oh, sure, don't even bother to ask how I am.
Zavok heard Tangle over the walky talky with so much excitement.
Zavok: Oh my gosh! Tangle! I'm so glad.
Tangle: Zavok?!
Tangle find it obvious that Zavok was here and has changed his ways since back then. The talking goes on for a while between Zavok and Metal Sonic.
Tangle: Is there an exit around here?
Whisper points her finger at on of those eggchoppers. (I don't know what it is)
Whisper: Over there.
Tangle nods briefly before heading over there with Whisper, talking to Metal Sonic for a bit about his concern.
Tangle: Your concern is quite touching, Metal Sonic.
Whisper: Haha. Good one, Tangle. Anyways, let's hurry!
The duo got inside the eggchopper as it zoomed back home, Earth.

After rescuing Tangle, the duo made their way back to HQ. Filly quickly informed everyone that they have 3 days until Eggman unleashes his instrument of destruction.

Whisper has finished her mission on Mystic Jungle. There, she found a hidden lab locked.
A sparkling object caught Whisper's attention as she looks down and sees some kind of crystal.
Whisper: Hm...? What is this? Some sort of crystal.
Whisper picked it up and observes the crystal.
Whisper: ...?!
The crystal activated itself before going off. It made Whisper confused by the activation of the crystal.
Whisper: Fascinating.
Ivy the Lemur came by, running to Whisper as the wolf turn to the ivy Lemur. Filly was there as well.
Filly: Have we met before?

Filly: TANGLE!
Tangle: Filly!
Filly hugs Tangle while flying with her twin tails. She was so happy to see the Lemur okay and alive.
Filly: I was sooo worried! I thought you were...
Filly lands on the ground.
Tangle: You worry too much. Look, I'm perfectly fine.
Tangle turned to Ivy the Lemur.
Tangle: It's been generations since I've met you at the Jungle Dimension. You ok?
Ivy smiled and give Tangle a thumbs up.
Ivy: I'm okay my good ole Tangle.
Filly: The good news is you're safe! The bad news is Eggman said he had some plan that would destroy us all in three days.
And they know they have to hurry before Eggman and Mimic do their ultimate plan.
