You watch the little not-yet-together couple talk together and wanted to join in with them. It seems like they were back from their trip of trying to find the Beach.
"Hey!" the two both look up to find you walking up to them, "You two really can't just leave me at camp alone while you both get the fun! C'mon, the food's ready!"
As you all eat, you were talking about your visa days.
"If we don't join up in a game soon, our visas will expire," Usagi comments.
Arisu throws a stick in a mild frustration and counts his days on his paper.
"My visa will expire in three days," he says, "Three days to go, but I'll find that Beach and put an end to this damn game."
It was quiet for some time. The two people in front of you were gazing at each other for some time and smiled before Usagi stood up.
I swear if they don't get together.
"Tomorrow, I'll do a day hunt. Wanna come with me?" Usagi asks.
Oh, she made the first move.
"Is that okay?" Arisu asks, "Can't promise I'll stay out of your way, but I'll do my best."
"Ah, I'm so jealous of you, Usagi," you lean back and prop your hands, "You can do all of these amazing things, but still cannot know how to ride a bike."
She threw a stick at you as you laugh, not dodging the stick.
"All the knowledge that you've discovered about nature, I need to learn, and learn right away or else I'll die before my visa ends," Arisu nervously laughs, "Life comes with consequences. Without thinking about that, somehow, I've lived till now. Those guys trusted me. They died believing in me. I may also die soon, and for what? For now, I don't want to waste even a single minute, not a second."
It was quiet for some time until you laugh.
"Do you seriously think you're going to die, Arisu?" you smile, "I swear, you're the smartest one here."
"Really?"
"Really," you look at Usagi, "You may not have many talents like Usagi, but that brain of yours, thinking of many strategies, you've helped us through a lot of games. I don't know what you do in your life, but you are really smart when it comes to games."
"Thanks . . ." Arisu, having a bit of hope rise inside him.
Usagi smiles at your words. It was like you took them right out of her mouth and made you say it. She looks back at Arisu.
You walk back in the tent, joining in with Usagi. You wink at her as she seemed to blush at the night. You knew her intentions. She just couldn't seem to get them out right for Arisu.
