Kuina walks out the hotel before Chishiya gets off the wall and brings himself to listen what was going on.

"Is she okay?"

"She'll survive," Kuina says, leaning on the pole as she bites down her fake cigarette, "What'd you expect from her getting beaten up like that?"

"Just wanted to check up on her before I go," Chishiya says as he was slowly walking out of the the hotel.

"Don't you feel bad?" Kuina asks, "For Arisu and Usagi, I mean."

Chishiya stops on his tracks as he flicks around with his wristband.

"Sorry for them?" He looks back at Kuina.

"Yeah," she scoffs, "I'm sure I do."

Chishiya turns back around.

"Sometimes we must do these things to survive."

Kuina gave him a concerned, yet bitter look, as if he was seriously going to be this apathetic. Chishiya slightly smirks at her concerned look.

"If you're so worried about him, then go ahead and help him."

"Then what about Y/n? I know you have a keen eye for her."

"What about her?"

"Cut the crap. We both know that you at least have some interest of her."

Chishiya nods and smirks even more at her observant eye.

"Aren't you an observer?"

"What else can I do when all you talk about is Y/n around me?" Kuina takes out her cigarette, "Are you really going to just leave her hanging?"

"She doesn't trust me anymore, so what's wrong with that?"

"What's wrong is that you still have feelings for her, yet you still used her."

"Yes, I was only using her, just how I did with Arisu, but feelings?"

"You always kept her around your finger yet leaving her hanging to the point she'll still linger around you. Isn't that a bit too much coming from you?"

"She was special," he says, looking at Kuina, "but she doesn't need me. She never did."

Kuina looks at Chishiya as she found his eyes quite sad. This was her first time seeing Chishiya with a different kind of emotion, as if he's giving up trying to get you again.

And he was trying to give up on you, but it didn't seem to work. He tried many times, but it seemed that you were still pulling him in. You always were.

The only thing that was distracting him right now was the red thin lines right in front of him.

"No way . . ."
