Sky slowly stirred up in his sleep and hardly opened his eyes. The sun was already high outside. He then touches the space beside him. But it was empty. His heart sank. Fin has already left.

He lazily gets up, but the memory of last night still lingers on him. It keeps on replaying like a broken stereo. His body is sore all over. He held his back, massaging it lightly as he walked towards the bathroom to fix himself.

He was still naked but he didn't mind and just went directly to the bathroom. He plans on staying here the whole day.

They overdone it last night. But he doesn't regret a thing. He just spent his Christmas with the man he loves.

Walking out of the bathroom, he suddenly scrunches his nose.

Did someone cook?

He checked the clock above him, it was almost ten in the morning. Breakfast at ten, maybe his neighbor near his house cooks. But... The smell was somewhat..

He just found himself hastily walking out of his room. And what he saw made his legs weak and his heart sting in happiness.

Fin was busy talking on his phone, he seemed mad. But as soon as he heard his footsteps, he ended the call.

"Hey." He seemed anxiously awkward, he faintly smiled.

Sky ignores it. Probably it was work. "Hey, I thought you left already." He gazes at the food on the table.

"You told me before that you wanted to taste my cooking skill," Fin shrugs. "Here it is, I hope it is to your liking." He motioned his hand for the mouth-watering food on the wooden table.

A soup made with pasta noodles, bacon and eggs, sausages and bread.

Because of their activity last night Sky suddenly felt so famished as he looked at the food.

"Merry Christmas." Fin smiled faintly.

Sky smiled widely then walked to Fin. "I thought you left already," he hugged him, buried his face on the crevice of his shoulder and sniffed him.

He smells like home.

He smells mine. He chuckled at his own thoughts. "Thank you." He muttered tenderly.

"Yeah, me too. Thanks for coming amidst your hectic schedule."

Fin caresses his head and kisses the side of him. "C'mon, it's alright, you're on top of my schedule, now let's dig in," they parted but before that, Sky kissed Fin hard. His tongue roams inside Fin's mouth, sucks his tongue then continues kissing his lips.

He moved down to his chin and lightly bit it before he smiled before he let go. "I think I'm full now."

"Oh, cut the crap! We both know you're hungry." Fin brows rose, indicating something.

They both chuckled, memories of last night filled their minds.

Then Fin stared at him for a moment, contemplating before he spoke.

"Don't open your phone for the meantime and if it's not necessary don't watch any news or much better if you don't open your TV." Fin said in the middle of their breakfast.

Sky furrowed his brows. "Clyde, what's going on?"

Fin turned silent for a moment. "I can't tell you right now."

"The more you say things like this, the more I feel like knowing it."

"Just... Just don't believe anything that you would see, do you trust me?" Fin's eyes were almost pleading but there was this anxiety and guilt that Sky could see there too. Now, he was totally wondering what he was saying.

He held his hands firmly and Fin did the same. That was Sky's silent assurance. "Okay."

"Call me okay, you've been ignoring me last time."

"I know, I'm sorry."

"It's fine."

The van was waiting for Fin. Fin bid his goodbye to his aunt Imelda before he hugged Sky for the last and entered the van.

Sky was smiling while waving his hand. Imelda was beside him. But as soon as the van was nowhere near their sight, his face suddenly turned gloomy. And Imelda saw it.

"It's okay, he'll be back for sure."

He understands it but when? Wait, realization struck him.

"How long did you know, boss?"

"When he rushed that night towards you. He's beyond worried when I tell him it's your parents' death anniversary."

He sighed. "Thanks boss." He couldn't say those things that he was thankful about specifically but he said it from deep within his heart.

"Ahhh, it's nothing, I'm more than happy to see you two happy."

They were talking as they entered, the TV was always on for the customers' entertainment, news was currently flashing on screen. And what Sky saw makes him rooted in his feet. He couldn't believe his eyes. Fin and a certain guy's lips were pressed together.
