Part II: Training Arc

(Y/N) POV:

I've been staying at Hakugyokurou for a while now. During this time I was instructed to train for combat and boy... the training is rough. Youmu was tasked to train me while Yuyuko teached me about Gensokyo, it's history and everything else. I also learned about the two as well. I found out that Youmu is a half-phantom half-human and that Yuyuko is a ghost for example. This shocked me but Yuyuko just told me that logic doesn't exist in Gensokyo so I shouldn't really be surprised. Right now I was sparring with Youmu in the garden of Hakugyokurou while Yuyuko spectated us with a pile of pork buns that she was munching on. Oh yeah, I also learned that Yuyuko is a huge glutton. She reminds me of Slimer from Ghostbusters heheh..

*clang*

Yuyuko: "Alright you two, don't you think that's enough training for today? You've been at it for a few hours now~"

Youmu: "You are right Yuyuko-sama, I think we're done for today."

Man I'm beat.. Yeah, Youmu has been teaching me swordsmanship and holy moly she's good. Yuyuko told me that Youmu might be the best swordwoman in all of Gensokyo. That means I'm being trained by the best of the best which is a huge honor.

(Y/N): "Yeah we're done, a little longer and I would've been dead meat.."

Youmu: "Incorrect, you are getting better and better everyday and I'm a hundred-percent sure that wouldn't happen. Don't say stuff like that (Y/N)-san."

(Y/N): "Thanks for that Youmu-san, it means a lot coming from you."

Yuyuko meanwhile was just staring at us with smug expression on her face.

Yuyuko: "Ara~ Maybe I should leave so you two can have some alone time~"

Youmu then grew a huge blush and I just stared at Yuyuko deadpanned.

Youmu: "Y-Yuyuko-sama stop saying that! I was just giving (Y/N)-san some m-motivation!"

Yuyuko just giggled at us. Me and Youmu looked at each other and just shook our heads, with Youmu still sporting that blush.

(Timeskip)

A few months had passed since I woke up in Hakugyokurou and it's been a blast (atleast compared to my life in the "outside world" that people in Gensokyo likes to call it). Youmu, Yuyuko and I have become pretty close. Youmu is kind of like a sister to me while Yuyuko... I don't know.. She's a big tease but also acts sort like a big sister to me. It's so confusing... she sometimes can be flirty towards me which I don't know how to respond to.. Anyway today something unexpected happened. While eating with the two Yuyuko told me this:

Yuyuko: "(Y/N), today is the day that you'll leave us."

I swallowed the food in my mouth and looked at her a little shocked.

(Y/N): "Yuyuko, why?"

Yuyuko: "Well, we actually expected you to stay here longer but you learned quickly how to fight and took in all the information provided rather pretty fast so I think you are ready for Gensokyo now~!"

Youmu, who was sitting beside me, just nodded.

(Y/N): "I see... how will I get to Gensokyo then?"

Yuyuko: "Yukari will come get you. I'm sure you are pretty curious about her~"

My eyes widened. Yukari? I will finally be able to meet her? She has been on my mind ever since I got here. I have so many questions..

A weird looking portal, filled with eyes and bows by it's borders then started appearing infront of us.

Yuyuko: "Speaking of the youkai.. It's time for you to go (Y/N)."

(Y/N): "Wait already!? That's Yukari?"

Yuyuko nodded. I didn't notice that Youmu left to get my belongings and had returned with them just now.

Youmu: "I got your things (Y/N)."

(Y/N): "Ahh.. Thank you Youmu."

She handed me my sword, which I call (S/N). I strap it to my back and begin walking to towards the portal. Before entering it I look back to Yuyuko and Youmu. I take a deep breath and bow.

(Y/N): "Thank you guys for everything you've done for me, I appreciate it with all my heart."

I then get embraced by Yuyuko.

Yuyuko: "Don't worry about it. You've made our lives much better since you got here. You are saying as if this is farewell, it's not our last time meeting know~?"

I begin hugging back tears threatening to fall and I feel Youmu joining in as well.

Youmu: "Safe travels (Y/N)."

After parting from the hug I started entering the portal but not of course without waving goodbye. After successfully entering the portal I'm met with dozens of eyes staring into me. But I'm not fazed by them as I'm still thinking about Yuyuko and Youmu. I let out a happy sigh.

(Y/N): "Thank you guys, I hope we meet soon."

(???): "You can visit them anytime you know?"

I turn around to see a woman, similar appereance to myself, bright blonde hair, with those purple eyes, flashing me a small soft smile.

(???): "Finally we meet, for real this time. Am I right, (Y/N) Yakumo~?
