3rd Person Pov ;

After Chae-Won and Ni-ki's encounter earlier, Eun-Ji wouldn't stop talking to her about it.

“First, you sit next to Jungwon. Then, Ni-ki catches you from falling! Man, I wish you I was you.” Eun-Ji squealed, taking a bite of her food.

It was currently lunch time, and the two were eating as they chatted.

Chae-Won chuckled, “It was only an accident, Eun-Ji. I fell, and he caught me in time. Simple.” The brown-haired female says, her tray of food nearly finished.

“Yeah yeah, whatever you say~” Eun-Ji teased, the both continuing to eat as they chat.

Chae-Won's Pov ;

After lunch, Eun-Ji had needed to go to her other class since we didn't have the same schedule today.

I went back to our classroom and sat next to Jungwon, who was already in his seat.

He was focused on reading his book, so he didn't notice me sitting next to him.

We still had a bit of time 'till next period, so I decided to try and make a conversation with him.

“Hey..” I started, making him raise an eyebrow curiously and take his attention off of the book.

“What book are you reading?” I questioned, pointing to the book in his hands.

“Nothing special, it's a Sci-Fi book I borrowed from the library.” He mumbled, turning a page on the book.

“Oh! You like reading as well?” I exclaimed, didn't know he also liked reading.

I didn't manage to finish my conversation with him, as our teacher already entered the room.

I see the boy put his book away, instead grabbing his notes and textbook.

Awh man, that was going well.

I silently sigh and grab my textbook, preparing for another boring lesson.

“And since this is a project, you will all be grouped into partners.”

The class erupted into whispers once Ms. Kim finished her sentence, everyone already trying to pick their partners. Ms. Kim silenced the class, “Quiet! No one will be picking their partners, your partner will be your seatmate.”

Despite the class disagreeing, Ms. Kim did not give in.

“I expect all of you to complete this project by next Friday. See you then, class.”

It was only when Ms. Kim left that the realisation struck me on who my partner would be.

I turned to face Jungwon, but to my surprise, he was already staring at me.

“So, when should we start?” I inquire, now facing him. “Are you free after school?” I simply nod to his question, not like I would be busy with anything.

“Let's head to my house and start now. The sooner we finish, the better.” I hum in agreement, packing my stuff as he gets up from his chair, and I follow shortly behind.

Well, this'll be interesting.
