Opening her locker, the black haired female grabs and returns all the books she needs for her next period.
Grabbing one of her books, she doesn't notice an object fall from her locker until it landed on the ground, making a noticeable sound, the female turning her head to it, confused.
Closing her locker, she moves her books to be held by one hand, while the other remains free. She crouches, swifty grabbing with her free hand what looked like an envelope.
Curious, she observed the white envelope, which had a wax seal, the letter 'Y' stamped onto the wax, with a small pink dahlia flower which—was attached to the wax as well.
“Dahlias,” she utters, “my favourite flower.” a small smile forms on her face, which quickly dissipated as she quickly brisk walked to her classroom to read the contents of the letter.
Sitting in her seat, she puts all her books down, fiddling with the letter and opening it.
A neat, white piece of folded paper was inside, the female quickly unfolded it and read it's contents.
‘Hello, Chae-Won.
I'm aware we've never directly interacted before, nor have I ever approached you in the past. But, there are a few things I'd like to tell you.
Being in the same class, I've always noticed you, despite you always being silent and never socialising with anyone.
I always admired you from afar. We've never interacted or anything, yet when I started to notice you—it had just seemed to click. I don't know you personally, but with our close enough encounters, I've noticed you seem to be the person to never give up no matter how hard anything is. You manage to overcome anything, without asking for anyone's help, which made me realize I fell for you—and your persistent and overcoming personality.
—And the fact that you look quite attractive. Don't get me wrong though, I don't chase after looks. I hope to get to know you better after this letter.
If you still haven't gotten the message of this, well—I'll just say it.
I like you, Kim Chae-Won.
I always have. And will continue to.
I hope you don't find me weird for suddenly confessing, do think about all the random gifts you'd find on your desk in the past, will you?
Also, remember to look at the envelope this came with. I put a special something in there.
— Y.'
Shocked, Chae-Won could only read the letter over and over again, never expecting anyone to confess to them, that they liked her.
Well, she should've seen it coming, with the daily gifts that appeared on her desk every other day.
Snapping out of her shocked state, she scrambles to reach for the envelope, her hand feeling something inside it as she pulled it out.
A golden necklace, which had a flower design on the front of it.
A smile once more formed on her face, 'dahlias'.
“I wonder how he found out these were my favourite flower”, she utters to herself, firmly holding the necklace in her hand, a small smile still on her face.
'I wonder who this could've been..' she thinks, recalling people in her class who had a 'Y' in their name.
Suddenly, her motions stop when she had a realization.
'Could it be...
No..

Before she even managed to finish her sentence, the brown-haired female woke up in a cold sweat, eyes wide open in shock as she jolted up from her bed, taking deep breaths.
“What was that..?-” Talking to herself, she shakes her head in an attempt to clear her mind, laying down once more on her bed, facing the ceiling.
'It was probably just a random dream.. Yeah.. That's it.' the female told herself in a vain attempt to comfort themselves, looking out of the window next to their bed, looking at the dim moon and stars scattered among the dark blue night sky.
'It didn't feel like it was only a dream, though.'
