KAWA'AY was a curious creature from birth. Her mom always told her story about how she would disappear suddenly and come back after hours as a child. Her brother was always the one to find her, sometimes she was playing with the other kids, other times she was on the water playing with different Ilus.
Her mother, Kate, was not an Na'vi as her name indicated. Kate was an avatar, she had been human before it. She always talked about her best friend, Jake Sully who was also an avatar. But they had a differences between them, Kate had escaped. After all that death and suffering Kate decided to go away from the Omaticayas. She ended up in the reef, in the Metkayina clan. It was hard but with time she learned their ways and they learned to respect her. Ronal and her family had taken her under their wig, and Kate could call herself Ronals sister.
And then she fell in love. Her mate. They had two beautiful children. Her older brother, Tsrotu. He got his appearance from their mother. Dark blue skin, bright yellow eyes and a little tail. And not many years after they had Kawa'ay. She was just like her father, bright blue eyes, a light greenish skin and a tail good enough to swim faster than her brother.
But there was something that indicated that the two of them were siblings: their finger. Both of them had five finger in every hand. Something they had to learn accept about themselves. And now just a few of the kids made fun of them, but most of them didn't really are anymore.
But her life couldn't always be rainbows and happiness. Her family was given the news that her father had died, killed by the sky people. The family mourned together and then got up together.
Something changed Kawa'ays routine that she had established after the death of her father. The Sully's came to the clan Metkayina searching for uturu, as they said. Someone captured the Metkayinas eyes.
Why was the oldest sibling of the Sully so annoying? And why did Kawa'ay liked that he chased her?
