Kiya's POV on the track

I'm going hard with my 100m dash and throwing in a couple 400m dashes when I feel like I need to push myself with Nicki Minaj's Pink Print album blaring thru my beats, when I get a call from my girl Kaylnn.

"He-hello" I said trying to catch my breath and breathe
" Hey what are you doing" Kaylnn said ignoring the fact that I'm dying

"Other than dying and talking to you, I'm just running on the track" I told her standing straight to help my lungs

"Aww ok I see you trying to put in work lol" Kaylnn said making us both laugh

" Lol yeah I had nothing else to do D'Angelo and your bae is in the gym" I told her drinking water

"At this point I don't want to claim him as bae" she said sighing

"Wait why, what happened that I don't know about" I said

"well it all started when..."

D'Angelo's POV

"Dang man all over some Gatorade" I said to Devin after he finished telling me what happened between him and Kaylnn

"Hell yeah, and her smack was real hard too Lol" Devin said with a chuckle throwing the ball back to me

"Lmao ,wait she smacked you , timeout timeout LOL" I said dying of laughter

"Chill out man, that wasn't funny that ish hurt" Devin said

"Ight Ight I'm done but wow you need to call and make some dinner arrangements or something romantic" I said dribbling the ball and taking it up

"Damn Dlo I thought you said timeout, so now you wanna play dirty" Devin said to me coming down the court hard

"Aye ya'll wassup " an anonymous voice said

"Well ,well, well if it isn't the Dynamic duo and their midget" Devin said making all of us erupt into laughter

"Lol wassup Tyler , Aaron, Andrew" I said dapping them

"Wassup Druss at least you got some respect and not corny jokes" Tyler said

"Wassup ya'll" The Harrison twins said to us

"What are ya'll up to?" Aaron asked

"Nothing just blowing off some steam and putting in work" Devin said

"blowing off steam? what did you do this time" Tyler asked

"Nothi-" Devin started before I cut him off

"Nothing but got smacked around like Pacquiao" I said making all the boys except Devin laugh

"Ha-Ha very funny, but nothing fr just a little argument with Kaylnn" Devin replied sitting on the bleachers

" Dang man I guess we all in the same boat" Andrew said shooting a basket

"Nah we not me and my baby A1 and I hope it stays that way" I said rebounding his shot

"Yeah yeah who cares pretty boy" Tyler said tying up his Lebron's

"Lol But on real note yall want to get a Winners take all game going" Aaron said changing his shirt

"Nah ya'll can I'm out this round need to take it easy" I told them sitting on the bench to text my baby

"Oh yeah he out this round cause I don't need Kiya killing me if something happens"

"Aww pretty boy whipped, how cute cant play a rough game " said Andrew

"I wonder if she is really serious about that though? " Devin asked

"Let's find out" I said standing up to play

" Oh shit my boy got heart" Tyler said running to the court

Let the games begin.....

Kaylnn's POV

After awhile I just met up with Kiya at the track , I needed some running in my life.

"Alright I am beat Nakiya let's do a cool down lap and head to the court with the boys" I said to her slowing down

"Lol why you can't keep up" Kiya joked speeding past me

"Like fr and I really feel bad for smacking Devvy" I said to get her attention

"Alright but D just texted me saying they were about to start a game" Kiya whined

"Ok fine how about 5 more 100m dashes then we can go" I reassured her

"yaayyy lets do it" she said sprinting to the starting line this girl is a mess

Kiya's POV

Halfway through my phone started ringing

"KIYA GET TO THE GYM QUICK D'ANGELO IS HURT" a male voice yelled through my speakerphone

My head was spinning ,hands trembling and my stomach felt like it just fell through my bottom. I sprinted all the way across the campus forget the car . I just hoped he was ok "will he still be able to play ball" "IT'S NOT THAT BAD" is all that kept running through my head . Not paying attention I almost was hit by a teacher. As I entered the gym everyone turned and looked at me .

"WHAT HAPPENED?!?!" I asked kneeling down to my boyfriend that seems to be in terrible pain.

"a rough couple of games and he came down too hard on his ankles" one of the twins said

"Yeah that looked like it hurt lol" Tyler said making the whole room laugh even D'Angelo

"WTF IS FUNNY" I yelled at them all so confused

"Babe calm down it was a joke" D'Angelo said standing up as they all laughed

"THAT WAS NOT A FUCKING GOOD JOKE" I yelled to him

"Nakiya calm down" Devin said to me

" NO I WILL NOT, do you know how scared you had me ,or how many times I've pictured this moment , or you in a hospital bed being told you just might not ever pay ball again. This was not funny!!" I yelled getting closer to D'Angelo's face

"I'm sorry , just calm down" he said coming closer to me

With that I did what I said I would never do I smacked him in his face. I was pissed ,completely livid , and everyone in the room looked super shocked.

" I hate you" I simply said walking out of their presence

"Thanks" I simply said taking my stuff I left on the track from Kaylnn

My face was full of tears of anger but also a little joy that he was ok , I thought he was better than that. The smack he deserved but I will still apologize for it another day.

"NAKIYA, I'm sorry I was just to see if you were really serious about my safety" I heard D'Angelo yell behind me stopping me in my tracks

"I'm sorry , just a prank the guys and I came up with" He said pulling me towards him and wiping my tears

"I need my space" I said kissing his now red cheek and getting in my Jeep
