"This is so stupid. How am I supposed to rebuild my Lego set in a dumb tent," Lucas grumbled while trying to pack about 500 Lego pieces into his backpack. Lilly was walking over to help Lucas but felt something stab her foot. She yelped and jumped up in surprise, it was a Lego brick about the size of her little pinky. She sat down on her brother's carpet and grabbed her foot. Looking around her brother's room, there was a whole bunch of Legos everywhere. Lilly felt anger grow in the pit of her chest. How could he do this? Even after what happened to her, he still kept his Legos on the floor everywhere! "Lucas why do you have so many Legos on your floor? I told you so many times to stop! Don't you remember what happened?!" Lilly can remember the day so perfectly. It was the day they moved into the house. Lilly had met some girls around the neighborhood and had invited them over to her house for a sleepover. Looking back, Lilly never should have invited them over, not with how crazy obsessed her brother was. Her new friends wanted a tour of the house, so she showed them around. The last room Lilly showed them was her brother's room. Lucas was still unpacking so everything was scattered everywhere. Lilly didn't know that Lucas had dumped every single one of his Lego pieces on the floor. Lilly had walked right into the huge pile of Legos, tripped into the huge mountainous stack, and face planted on the sharp tiny pieces. With. All. Her. Friends. Watching... It was a nightmare, especially what happened after that. Lilly had to go to the hospital! Apparently when she had fallen into the Legos, she twisted her ankle and had so many bruises, she looked like a black and blue tie-dyed shirt. She swore to this day to never go near any plastic toy with sharp edges. Her so-called- friends made fun of her, calling her a Lego killer and a klutz. All except one friend who helped Lilly when she fell, Rosaria Terrell. Rosaria was always there for Lilly, but now she was going to move to New York City. Her Dad got an amazing job offer that her parents couldn't pass up. Great for the Terrell family, but super sad for Lilly. Lilly was going to miss the Terrells. They were such kind generous people. They had even offered for Lilly and Lucas to rummage through some of their belongings they were leaving behind in the move. The new owners were moving in any day now, so Lucas and Lilly needed to check it out before that. They needed to quickly pack for the camping trip so they could hunt for treasure at the Terrell's before they left. So, Lilly finished scolding her brother and told him to hurry up! Then she limped back to her room to start packing.
