Murasa Minamitsu, the ship-sinking youkai spirit, keenly looked over the field of both the beach ocean waters and the islandy, sandy parts across.
Searching for an unsuspecting victim across.
There she stood, by her anchor that floated on the ocean, while she was dressed in a sailor-like uniformed swimsuit.
A hand on her forehead and over her squinting eyes in her search. Searching, pacing, eyeing...
"...Murasa! Stop trying to drown someone again."
Murasa looked to her side. Nearby stood the monk woman with long flowing hair of purple and golden hues.
Byakuren Hijiri. Her hands were on her hips.
She was dressed in a black-strapped and ribboned swimsuit underneath a strapped and ribboned purple beach dress.
A wide brimmed-hat sat atop of her head, and her green beads hung from around her neck.
"Lady Hijiri-?" Murasa said, dumbfounded. "But it's been so long since I've last drown my captives~!"
"Now, Murasa," Byakuren scolded softly. "You might as well have a friendly chat with the other youkai, instead of attacking or drowning them, alright? Remember when I last rescued you, dear?"
"Yes, ma'am..." Murasa obeyed reluctantly.
Still, Murasa thought, gazing back at the monk woman before her. Lady Hijiri seems so pretty in her beach outfit...
From a few feet behind, the umbrella youkai, Kogasa Tatara, would be seen sneaking nearby a certain mouse youkai, Nazrin.
Kogasa crept in her long-sleeved white and blue swimsuit, readying the hold of her iconic umbrella counterpart over her head with its usual long tongue stuck out.
Steadily tiptoeing on her geta sandals, silently...
"BOO~!"
The targeted youkai, Nazrin, just glanced at the umbrella youkai with a confused look.
She already spotted her attempted scare when stood by the sands, armed with her usual dowsing rods in both her hands.
She still wore her bluish capelet, but the cloth feigned over a dressy and snuggly, grayish one-piece swimsuit with cut-up, frilly patterns by the cloth sides.
"What the hell are you doing?" spoke Nazrin.
"Eh-?! Y-You're not... surprised?" Kogasa asked anxiously, before soon growing upset. "Of course you're not... oh well..."
The now saddened umbrella youkai walked off from the mouse, moping her way as she did so.
Nazrin watched as the latter left.
The mouse commander stood beside her master, Shou Toramaru, who sat grandly on a mat and under an umbrella, with a few other belongings spread out on the same mat.
Like cheese, other foods, beach equipment, etc.
Shou Toramaru, much like her rat subordinate, still wore her giant cloth circle attached to her back, but beneath that she had a tiger-styled and patterned swimsuit dress, along with a few tiger-striped shawls and a towel and bloomer pants.
"She seems so sad... Why not make it up to her, hm, Nazrin?" Shou suggested to the mouse commander.
"E-Eh?" Nazrin quickly jolted as she spun to her master in surprise. "I-I don't know her at all! Besides, I have to keep track of the other mice on this beach, and their search for some treasure!"
