I decided to wear a black dress to work today, something simple and sophisticated. My mind goes to Blaze while I'm getting dressed. I wanted to look good for him even though my chances of seeing him daily were slim to none.

Why am I worried about a man who was obviously a whore, a rich whore, but whore no less.

I curled my hair then walked out of the door. Traffic was terrible. I prayed to make it to work on time. I didn't want to be late on my second day. I park next to the closest elevator in the parking garage. Then quickly make my way to the office, promptly at 8 o' clock.

"Cutting it close, aren't we?" a squeaky voice said. A woman about 25 walked into my office. "I guess I should introduce myself, I'm Lauren. And you better be careful coming to work late." I recognize her from the club hanging off Blaze's shoulder.

She literally sounds like nails on a chalk board.

The better part of me wanted to slap her, but I also wanted my job. "Thank you so much for your concern. I have a lot of work to do and I'm sure you do too. Maybe you should get to it." I rolled my eyes hoping she would get the drift and get the hell out of my office.

Obviously she didn't. "So how do you know Mr. Richter?" I kept quiet, continuing to do my work. Lauren stood at the office door not moving.

"I'm working, do you need something work related?" I reply, trying not to blow a fuse. She huffs then walks out of my office.

Then here comes Megan. "What did her nosey ass want? Please do not let her bother you. She is a huge saggy titty bitch." I burst out laughing, throwing my hand over my mouth to not disrupt other people.

"Megan, go back to your office." I say barely speaking clearly and trying to keep a straight face.

"Okay, only if you go to lunch with me today. There is a great little bistro around the corner. It's a five minute walk. Let's plan on that." Megan walks to her office quickly hearing the sound of Mr. Richter's voice.

Once again he knocks on my office door. I thought he wouldn't be in today, but here he is sitting in the chair across from me. He just stares almost like he is waiting for me to make the first move. So in true virgo fashion I ignore him and keep working. He clears his throat as I turn my accounting book to the next page and continue putting together my presentation.

"So you're not talking to me?" He asks with an annoyed look on his face.

"I thought I was invisible since you sat there and said nothing. How are you today Mr. Richter?" I respond still not looking his way.

"Are you upset about something? If so, you can tell me. If it's a work issue I can help." He waits for an answer. Eventually, I informed him about my morning and how nasty Lauren was. He looks at me sternly.

"Don't worry about it, I'll take care of Lauren. Anything else?" I shook my head no and continued to input information into my computer.

"Come on, let's grab a coffee. Maybe fresh air can fix that attitude problem."

I finally look at him and smile. I stand up and grab my purse ready to get my coffee so I can survive these basset hounds at work.

"You can leave your purse here. I can afford coffee." Blaze smirked.

"I'm not leaving my stuff here. These people might steal."

"Lock your office and let's go. He holds the door open so I can exit. It's almost a walk of shame. The amount of people staring while Mr. Richter walks behind me is nerve wracking.

"Hold your head up and watch where you're going."

"Yes, sir."

"I like the sound of that."

I turn around looking into Blaze's eyes then continue to walk with my head held high. Blaze bought us coffee from the Starbucks on the 1st floor. He ordered an americano with an espresso shot, I got an iced caramel macchiato.

"We can't just walk around with each other Blaze. People will get the wrong idea about me. You'll be fine, but they will think I'm sleeping my way to the top." He sips his coffee not giving much thought to what is being said.

"Can I be straightforward with you?" He says in monotone. I nod letting him know to continue.

"Sienna, before I would ever stick my dick in any part of you, you would have to quit. I can't risk my reputation either. Are you attractive? Of course. Attractive enough for me to break my own rules? Absolutely not." He sips his americano again.

"Well, let's go, Mr. Rules" I pick up my macchiato and walk toward the elevator. "Maybe you should wait for the next elevator so no one gets confused."
