Thoughts of Sienna filled my mind. I wondered if my plan to win her back would work. Phase 1 would happen today. Lauren would play into my scheme. She is so desperate for my attention, she wants to keep Sienna as far away from me as possible.

I dropped a note Sienna had written me on the side of Lauren's desk. I just have to wait until shit hits the fan.

After my 11 o' clock meeting, I heard Lauren's heels clicking down the hallway to the elevator like a freight train. I was sure she found the note so I followed her making sure not to ride in the same elevator. I stayed close enough to listen, but far enough to avoid being seen. I watched the situation unfold from the receptionist's desk.

Lauren barged into Sienna's office ready to cause a scene.

"Sienna, you're just so desperate for attention aren't you." Lauren wanted to embarrass Sienna by talking loud enough for everyone to hear her. "He got what he wanted from you and left you where you stand." Lauren threw the note on Sienna's desk.

Megan rushed towards Sienna's office. "Lauren, he didn't even want what you have, at least Sienna's is good enough."

"Oh whatever, he just didn't want to ruin our relationship." Lauren huffed trying to make the situation sound better.

I heard Sienna let out a deep breath. I could tell she was about to light Lauren's ass up. I walked around the corner on cue.

"Sienna, baby, I'm so sorry. Can I explain myself? Please, Sienna, you know how much I care about you." Sienna looked at me with a face of shock.

"Wha...What?" She replied looking around like she was on an episode of punk'd.

Lauren and Megan's faces hit the floor like they were seeing a ghost.

"Do you want me to beg you because I will Sienna. I'll do anything I can to make it up to you." By this time all of the 50th floor is listening to our conversation. That means she won't say no because she doesn't want me to feel embarrassed. Truthfully, she cares more for me that she would admit.

I waited for an answer staring into her eyes, making her so uncomfortable that she shifted in her seat and moved her eyes to the floor.

"Okay, I'll talk with you." She replied very softly, almost whispering.

As I walked away, everyone returned their attention to their computers. Lauren audibly gasped then quickly ran towards the elevator. That's what she gets. She better leave my girl alone. My girl, I like the sound of that.

Megan ran into Sienna's office as soon as I strolled out. Megan is the mouth of the office. Sienna doesn't seem like the kind to gossip, but they have somehow formed a bond.

I texted Sienna and asked her to meet me at the Starbucks on the first floor. I ordered a black coffee for myself and a Caramel Macchiato for Sienna. I watched as she exited the elevator with her head down. I could tell she was deep in thought.
