❝ [¡! ੈbam✩‧₊pow˚¡!] ❞ᴀʀᴀᴄᴇʟɪ ᴅᴇꜱᴘᴇʀᴀᴛᴇʟʏ ᴡɪʟʟᴇᴅ ʜᴇʀ ʟᴇɢꜱ ᴛᴏ ꜱᴛᴏᴘ ꜱʜᴀᴋɪɴɢ, luckily, for once her body obeyed her prayers despite the fact that every worst-case scenario was running through her head.
She pushed Izuku back and stepped in front of him, getting ready to follow her teacher if needed. Before she could take another step Mr. Aizawa yelled, "Stay back!!"
Araceli watched as from the mist emerged a never-ending number of villains, all of them advancing towards the class. Except for one. A villain hunched over in all black, hands-on various parts of his body--- most notably on his face. He was just watching. Which meant he is most likely the boss.
Araceli inhales sharply as a monster emerged, about the same height as All-Might with beady eyes, a beak, gnarly teeth and it's brain exposed. It looked nothing like a human, nothing like a human with a quirk.
It looked like someone manufactured a being meant to terrify and harm.
By the way the man with hands lifted his hand, leisurely, to stop the monster--- Araceli knew he was somehow in control of it. Which posed somehow of a worse threat as it stood with a twisted smile, side by side with the man with hands on his body.
"How perplexing... according to the schedule we retrieved All Might should be here...", spoke the mist
Araceli turned slightly to her class, eyeing them all suspiciously.
Who looks too calm? Who looks pleased? Who doesn't look scared enough?
Mr. Aizawa came to the same conclusion as Araceli did, "So you scumbags used the press as a cover and sneaked onto campus."
Well, almost. That's the reason why Araceli now reasoned that the only people she could trust where herself and Izuku. Someone would've noticed a villain in the building. Additionally, the halls were too crowded with chaos for one to enter without anyone noticing. Besides, their clothes would've stood out in plain sight on the cameras in the sea of U.A. uniforms.
So. That can only mean there was a teacher or students, who are also able to easily navigate the huge U.A. school building, who assisted these villains.
Araceli dug her nails into her hands. This was ugly.
This was what it really meant to be a hero, to face utterly, terrifying evil. Evil that shined eyes full of blood lust, evil that licked its lips as a predator did--- ready to tear apart and devour its prey.
"How could so many get into a U.A. facility?", Kirishima asked.
Simple. Inside help, and the portal quirked person.
"Yeah," Yaoyorozu spoke up, a bead of sweat running down her cheek, "Thirteen, why aren't the alarms going off?"
"Good question. I'm not su-"
Araceli scoffed, it's obviously an electric quirk because all of the alarms are technological, so there are jamming signals as well as... most likely communications.
They wanted to completely isolate them.
Araceli was sure everyone could come to these conclusions, but it seemed her skills of deduction outmatched even Thirteen-- a Pro Hero.
"Are they attacking the entire campus, or are we their only target?," Todoroki wondered aloud, "Either way the alarms aren't being triggered which means that one of these villains must have a specialized quirk."
Araceli snapped her fingers, bringing all eyes on her, "Exactly." It seemed that she wasn't the only one with a brain. Points for Todoroki.
Araceli continues, "But they are just attacking us. I know for a fact. That electric quirk is making sure we are isolated. Making sure no one could know the attack is happening. The villain with hands made it clear, he's here for All Might. There's no way they would waste time and resources on anywhere else---"
