No One's POV

"Your weak", those words kept replaying in Enid's mind. Along with "No wonder your parents think of you as a disappointment", they were like knives piercing through Enid's heart. It affected her so much, that she started to change herself to become distant and less herself.

Wednesday and Enid never spoke to each other since that night. They stopped sleeping under the same roof after Enid moved in with Yoko and Bianca, leaving Wednesday alone in the dorm. Wednesday deep down regretted saying those words to Enid.

"I don't know what to do. She won't let me get near her." Wednesday tells Xavier as she paces back and forth on Enid's side of the room that was now completely empty.

"Why did you say those things to her in the first place?" Xavier looks at Wednesday worriedly.

"Because I was hurt, jealous, mad, and stupid! Hurt and jealous that she was with someone else. Mad that she was defending Erica, knowing that she wants me dead. Mad that she doesn't love me the way I love her! God, I'm so stupid." Wednesday blurts out raising her voice while still pacing back and forth.

"Wow." Xavier says just looking at the black-haired girl. "Well, you really do have a hold on Enid. Because of you, she's become distant with everyone, she's not herself."

"What?" Wednesday stops pacing and turns to Xavier's direction.

"Yeah, she stopped talking to all her friends. She stopped being her smiley, bubbly self. She barely even smiles anymore."

"Who does she hang out with then?"

"Erica." Xavier says. "Hey. Don't get super jealous, look where it got you." Xavier says noticing Wednesday grow jealous at the mention of Enid with Erica.

"Whatever. How is she though?"

"Not sure. She just seems to not care. You really cut deep into her, didn't you?"

"Yeah..." Wednesday says in lower voice.

"What are you doing here?" Enid says.

"Oh, y'know, just passing by, thought you could use a friend." Xavier says as he enters Yoko's, Bianca's and now Enid's dorm. "Where's Yoko and Bianca?"

"Not here. Shouldn't you be with..." Enid pauses for a moment. "Her." Enid says anger laced on her lips.

"Wednesday? I just saw her. She misses you; you know."

"Her? Missing someone? Don't make me laugh, I'm not in the mood." Enid says rolling her eyes.

"Don't believe me? She is literally acting like you whenever you get anxious and overthink. Well, how you used to act anyways." Xavier says chuckling. Enid just looks at him with an unreadable expression.

"Damn, that poker face that Wednesday always has, has really grown on you huh?" Xavier jokes around.

"Just leave."

"Ok but know this. Wednesday is deeply sorry for what she said. And the only reason she hasn't said anything is because she can't bring herself to look at you, not after knowing that because of her, you're not yourself."

"She did me a favor, being too kind and letting people step on you, gets you nowhere."

With that Xavier leaves.

"You should really listen to him, go talk to Wednesday. I've seen her myself; she isn't the same without you. She's less... weird and homicidal?" Yoko says as she enters the room after Xavier left.

"I'm sure it's an act." Enid says not wanting to believe her but deep-down believes it.

"Ok... but you'll regret not talking to her. You'll lose her." Yoko says getting ready for bed.

Enid's POV

Xavier's and Yoko's words make me want to believe that Wednesday really does feel for me and that she's sorry. I want to talk to her but I'm afraid that I will just end up confessing my feelings for her and messing up our friendship. Well, right now I don't think there is a relationship.

I decided to take my chance and talk to her.

I walk to my former dorm with fidgeting hands, nervous to knock. I'm standing in front of the door, my hand in a fist, not ready to knock and just sits there. I take a deep breath and knock on the door.

"Wednesday it's me, can we talk?" I say after knocking.

I stand there for a few seconds feeling stupid as I hear no answer. I knock again but hear nothing. I use my werewolf hearing and hear noise, like someone is struggling to breathe, I can hear their heartbeat slowing down. At that moment I open the door wide and walk in.

"WEDNESDAY!" I yell to her as I see Erica covering her mouth with a cloth, making her dizzy as she struggles to get away from Erica's hold.

I hear Wednesday's heartbeat, slowing down even more.
