No One's POV

"Erica. Listen to me, please." Enid says with a breaking voice. "Please let her go." Enid says with tears starting to fill up.

"God, I love it when people beg." Erica smirks as she adds pressure to her hand onto Wednesday's mouth causing her heartbeat to get slower, suffocating her.

"I still think there is hope." Enid says walking closer to the two girls. "For you."

"Don't start getting ideas, Sinclair." Erica says as Enid gets closer to them.

"Just..." Enid looks at Wednesday, who is struggling to breathe. "I am begging you, don't kill her, please." The retriever says with soft eyes towards her black cat.

"Enid," Erica says with a light chuckle. "it's too late." She then takes her hand that was holding Wednesday in place, grabs a knife from her back pocket, and puts her hand back where it was quickly enough to get her hold back onto Wednesday, and looks at Enid.

"Say bye-bye to your precious roommate." Erica smiles and then take her pocketknife and stabs Wednesday on the lower stomach.

"NOO!" Enid yells immediately rushing to Wednesday arms and sobs.

"No, no, no, no, no." Enid stammers as she's kneeled down, holding Wednesday as she bleeds out.

"I know, so sad." Erica says as she walks backwards towards the door while making an exaggerated upside-down smile. "I would stay for the funeral, but I'll be long gone in a few hours." She says as she smiles.

Enid looks at her angrily. And then looks at her black cat. "I can NOT lose you, Wednesday. Please don't leave me." Enid says crying.

"Enid, I... I'm... s-sorry."

"Sh sh, I know, I forgive you, I'm sorry too." Enid says with teary eyes.

"l lo..." Wednesday tries speaking but then faints due to the amount of blood loss.

"Wednesday? W-wh. No, no, no, no, no, please, no." Enid looks at her with puffy eyes. "HELP! HELP!" Enid yells out for help.

Time: 1:42am

Wednesday is laying in her hospital bed, sleeping. Enid is sitting on a chair near her bedside, holding her hand.

"Enid, hey." Ajax says as he kneels to rub her back to comfort her. "You need to get some rest, you have been sitting here sobbing since she got here, you need to get sleep." He says in a soft voice.

"No." Enid says with a sniffle. "I need to stay here." Enid sighs. "In case she wakes up."

"Ok, but please try to get some sleep." Ajax says as he gets up and puts a hand on Enid's shoulder. "I'll be outside if you need anything." With a warm smile he leaves.

Time: 2:23 am Wednesday's POV

I wake up but I don't open my eyes right away. I take a moment to take in what has happened to me. 'Erica... stabbing me... pathetic, I couldn't even fight back!" I scold myself.

'Enid.' And at that thought I realize someone's touch on my hand. I open my eyes quickly and see Enid holding my hand as she sleeps. I stare at her, admiring her beautiful and calm presence. I guess she woke up to my small movements.

No One's POV

"Wednesday!" Enid says in a whisper yell as she wakes up and faces the injured girl. "Hey, no, don't, just stay there, you need to rest." The worried werewolf says as she looks up to the black-haired girl trying to stand up.

"Are you sure you're not the one needing rest? Looks like you haven't slept in years." Wednesday says looking at the tired girl.

"I'm fine, how you feeling?"

"Pathetic, angry, pitiful, pain, and not the good kind." Wednesday says rolling her eyes. "I can't believe I couldn't even fight back; she won't get away with this."

"It wasn't your fault, she made you dizzy. And you're right, she won't get away with this because I will back sure of it."

Before Wednesday could say anything, the sheriff entered the room. "Wednesday, you're awake that's great." He says startling the two causing them to let go of their hands.

"Sadly." Wednesday says in her monotone voice as usual.

"We are still on the search for Erica, no news just yet." The sheriff said ignoring Wednesday's comment.

"Ok, thank you sheriff." Enid says. The sheriff leaves the two girls alone in the hospital room.

Enid sighs. "I guess I have some explaining to do." With that Enid tells Wednesday everything.

Wednesday takes a moment to process everything.

"For the record, I was pretending to date Xavier." Wednesday says now knowing that Enid likes her too.

"Really? Why?" Enid asks surprised but relieved

"Because I was trying to forget about someone." Wednesday says looking at anything in the room except for the werewolf's ocean blue eyes.

"Oh." Enid says backing a bit, feeling sad at the thought of Wednesday liking someone else. "Can I know who it is?" She says without looking at Wednesday.

Wednesday was about to speak but Xavier came in. "Hey, I heard you where awake, you ok?" Xavier asks worried.

"I'm fine." Wednesday says a bit annoyed.

"I'll leave you two." Enid says about to get up from her seat and leave but is stopped from Wednesday's hand.

"No stay." Wednesday says softly.

"Ok fake dating or not, you never spoke to me like that. I'm offended. And yes Enid, we were fake dating, Wednesday was trying to forget about someone." Xavier says. "And before you get mad at me Wednesday, I just can't see you like a crazy jealous monster, I'm tired of having to hear your love issues. You need to tell her."

"First, I know, she told me that you guys were faking it. Second, she's a she?" Enid says.

"Oh, so you told her but not who it is? I swear I will tell her right her right now if you don't, someone's gotta push you." Xavier says.

"I was going to, but you came in." Wednesday says glaring at Xavier.

"Oh, shit. My bad. I'll go." Xavier says leaving and saying his goodbyes.

"Um." Enid says as she was just staring at the two bickering. "Who is it?" She says as she sits back down looking at Wednesday.

"It's..." Wednesday starts and then says the following as quickly as possible. "You and just know that if we do become something, don't expect me to be like other couples; always touchy and kissing each other. And if you really are into that stuff, I promise I will try my best to be what you want." Wednesday blurts out blinking multiple times.

Enid took a moment to process everything. "What I want is you, just you." Enid says softly as she leans down to kiss Wednesday's cheek and hugs her, Wednesday returns the hug.

"So, does that make us official?" Enid asks as she smiles brightly.

"Mm." Wednesday responds.
