Chapter 48: "A barbie doll"

    She was startled out of her thoughts when she saw a message on her phone. 

    "How could it be? I clearly recall about it.", Riddhima thought and the door flung open. 

    Vansh walked in the door and questioned her, "Why are you looking at me like that?" 

    Riddhima boldly questioned, "Did you transfer my father's land under your name?"

    "That's not your father's land. It was yours.", Vansh corrected her. 

    "What do you mean by 'was'?", she asked to get clarification. 

    Vansh closed his eyes and inhaled deeply and stated, "You are the CEO of Raisinghania Mining Enterprise. The whole company is in your name." 

    "It should be in the name of my masi or Sayan. But I don't remember in signing any document which was presented by you to transfer it in your name.", Riddhima screamed in rage. 

    He poured her a drink of water and motioned for her to sit down. 

    Riddhima broke the glass into thousands of pieces and hurled it to the ground. Vansh was astounded to witness her angry outburst.

    "I want to know the truth, Mr. Raisinghania.", she yelled loudly. 

    "You need to calm down, Riddhima", he said louder. 

    She showed her palm to him. 

    "Fine. The documents were signed by you. There were lot of pages when we were legally marrying each other in that marriage registration office one of the document was related to the ownership transfer.", he stated truthfully looking straight in her eyes. 

    "Traitor. Without telling me, you got married to me. My father gave me only one gift, and you snatched it without telling me. And please don't ever try to make me the owner of your firm; I know that in the end, it is yours. Why did you do it Vansh?", she screamed at him.  

    "I have reasons, Riddhima. You cannot draw the conclusion that you desire.", Vansh made an effort to enlighten her. 

    She picked up a flower vase off of the side table and flung it to the ground, which caused the floor to become covered in glass fragments. 

    "I am aware that was gifted to you by your mother. Now feel it.", Vansh was shocked by her actions as she yelled in wrath. 

    "The final day of my stay at your palace was today. I'm stepping out of your kingdom right now," she said. 

    After inhaling deeply, Vansh turned to face her and grinned evilly. Standing face to face, Riddhima drew her eyebrows together.

    "Good joke. Never forget that you are speaking with the most influential person on this continent," he continued, kicking back on the couch, "Riddhima, let's make a deal." 

    She asked, confused, "What type of deal?"  

    "You remain in our room as my wonderful and devoted wife, and there I swear to maintain the integrity of your cherished, lovely home.", Riddhima pondered his words with teary eyes. 

    "Destruction happens in seconds today. Dynamite.....Boom!", he continued. 

    She took a few steps back and watched him leave the room while maintaining his smirk.
