The first day

Rachel's POV
Today  is the first day of high school. I've just moved to jump city from Gotham city, but the good thing is my adopted brother,dick Grayson, is moving also. but it's going to be easy for him. he's outgoing, and is usually very popular. me on the other hand, I'm a little unapproachable, dark, and distant. I woke up. I didn't want tot get out of bed, but I got out. I got in the shower. I got out. I looked in the mirror, my long black hair was in a mess. I combed it. I pulled on a pair of black jeggings, a purple shirt, and my hooded jacket. I walked to the bus stop this morning with dick. I feel nervous. "hey don't to be nervous their going to love you" dick said. "sure" I said. then two girls walked up. One of the girls had pretty green eyes and long hot pink hair, she was wearing a light purple dress with long socks on that were gray, her shoes were silver. the other girl had brown eyes and light pink hair. she was wearing a leather jacket, a colorful metallic dress that was pink, purple, and blue, she had fishnet leggings on, and leather books. They walked up to us. "hi my names dick and this is rachel"said dick. "hello my names kora and this is Jessica" said kora the girl with green eyes. "I like your hair" said Jessica. "Thanks" I said. "it could use some colors maybe some purple" said Jessica. then the bus pulled up. we got on. I looked around. then I saw a boy with blonde hair, he was so cute, but he was asleep. I sat by dick. I put my head on his shoulder. "It's ok just breathe" he said.
Then the bus stopped. we got off. "who do you guys have first" dick asked kora, Jessica, and me. "mr. moth" we all said. "me too" said dick. we walked to class. it was science. I sat by Jessica because dick sat by kora. I looked around. there was the boy from the bus.
His eyes were bright green. he was so cute. then I asked Jessica "who's that" "who" she asked. "the blonde boy" I said. "oh Garfield Logan, but stay away from him because his girlfriend is awful" she said. after first period, Garfield stopped me in the hall and said " are you new here because I've never seen you" "yes i am" I said. I walked away blushing.
I walked to my locker it was next to kora's and dick's locker. kora was there and then she said "dick asked me out" "whoa that's great" I said. I walked to my second period.
It was home-ec. dick, kora, and Jess caught up with me. "ms. May too" I asked. they all nodded. and again there was Garfield. he grinned at me. I blushed. then it was lunch. garfield stopped dick, kora, Jess, and me in the hall and asked "hey do you guys want to eat lunch with us today" then dick said "sure I guess" then Garfield said "great see you at our table" then he ran off. I was blushing up a storm. "it looks as if Rachel has the crush" said kora. "shut up" I said. then we walked to the cafeteria.
