Packing up for the future

Rachel's POV
So we stopped working on packing up my room and we went to Garfield's house and we packed up his things. His room didn't take long to pack up and we when back to my room. We worked until 9:00. Then I heard a small snore. I looked over and Garfield was asleep on my bed. I was also tired and I curled up new to him. Then I woke up the next day and Garfield was looking at me. "What?" I asked him. "You're cute when you are sleeping and I was also thinking about how lucky I am to have you" he said. I blushed and he kissed my forehead. He put his arm around me and I cuddled up to him. "I love you" I said. "Ditto but I love you more" he said. "Don't even start" I said. "You two are gross" a voice said. I looked over and it was Dick. "What and your make out sessions with Kora aren't disgusting" I said. "Whatever" he said. Then as soon as dick left my room, Garfield kissed my lips. I got up and began to pack. Garfield got and helped me. We got it done in 20 minutes. Then he went home, to get changed and cleaned up. I took a shower and got cleaned up. Then my mom said "Garfield is here" then he walked into my room. I had on my purple velvet dress and a pair of black heels. I was finishing my makeup when Garfield walked in. "You look good Gar" I said. "That's a trick question I always look good" he said jokingly. I laughed. "You look beautiful" he said. "Thank you" I said. Then we got into his car and drove to the real-estate office. We got out at the office. Garfield ran up to the door and opened it for me. "Welcome" said a lady. "Hello " I said. "My name is Maria" she said. "I'm Rachel and this is Garfield, we're looking for an apartment that is near the college and that's big enough for two people and that doesn't have any work to do" I said. "So a large apartment that doesn't need any renovations" she said. "Yes ma'am" I said. Then she said "come with me" she said. We climbed into her car and she drove us to any apartment building. We got out. "This apartment is a block away from the campus, it's has one bedroom but it's a very spacious room, it's a two bath, it has a beautiful kitchen with all new renovations" she said. We got on the elevator and went up to the 5th level. Then the elevator stopped and dinged and the doors opened. We walked to the apartment. Maria unlocked the door and opened it. We walked in. "Whoa" Garfield said. That was staying a lot since he barely fit through the door. It was gorgeous however. The apartment had tall ceilings. The kitchen had brand new cabinets with granite countertops. The living room was large. Then we walked into the bedroom. "She was right this bedroom is huge" Garfield said. The master bath was also very nice. Then Maria walked out and said "I'll let you decide" then Garfield turned to me. "This apartment is perfect, I think that we should pick this one" he said. "I agree " I said. He grabbed my hand and we walked to Maria. "We will have this one" I said smiling. "Good just you two sign here" she said handing us a piece of paper. I read it carefully and then signed Rachel Roth. Garfield read it and then scratched down his name. Maria left after handing us a pair of keys. I smiled at Garfield. He did his small smirk. I grabbed my hips and spun me around. I locked the door and I walked out the door. Garfield ducked under the door frame and closed the door. We drove back to my house and we got all my boxes and bags. Then we went to Garfield's house and got his things. My mom and stepdad followed us to our apartment. They helped us get all of our stuff into the apartment. Then we got our things unpacked and we began to set up our apartment. Then it was about 4:00 pm by the time we got done but we were completely finished. I got into bed and Garfield wrapped his arms around me. I felt the warmth of his chest. His size and height made me feel like nothing could touch me. He was my complete opposite. He was big, muscular, tan, and tall. He was usually happy. Not me I was frail, small, thin, and I wasn't that tall I'm only 5,7 1/2. I was also barely happy. I very happy now, however I have him. I put my head on his chest. I went right to sleep.
