Study

Garfield's POV
Ok so on Monday, we have state test. I'm going to fail. I can just tell you already. I'm not that smart ok I smart but I'm no Einstein and the smartest kid in school is Rachel. Problem is this test determines if we graduate or not. I have to graduate because I have to go to the college. Oh oh, assassin's creed! No! No video games study! I grabbed my science book and began to read it front to back. Then I did all the problems we've every did in math class. I studied my social studies. I studied until I dropped. Literally Mom woke me up the next morning and I had drooled all over my text books and I had a pencil stuck to my face.
Now to what happened to me
"Garfield, Garfield! Wake up!" Mom screamed. I woke up from my beautiful dream of my girlfriend. "Huh?" I asked. "Rachel has been calling the house since 11:00 and its 1:00 something about a date!" Mom screamed. Shit I forgot about my date with Rachel. I got in the shower . I got out quickly. My date was at 2:00 it was 1:30 now. I ran into my room and grabbed some clothes and threw them on. I fixed my hair however I didn't have time to shake my newly grow fuss of a mustache. Then I noticed something glinting near my ear. I turned my head and saw an earring. "Melissa get in here! Now!" I screamed. "What? Do you want?" She asked. "What the fuck is this?" I said pointing at my ear. "An earring I pierced your ears" she said smugly. "Shit Melissa" I said. "You know what I'll deal with you later I'm going to be later" I said running out of the door. I met Rachel walking by. "What the hell?" Rachel said. "What?" I asked. I hoped she didn't she my new earrings. "What's with the new earrings?" She said. "Melissa" I said. "Unless you think I look good with them" I said. "Kind of" she said playfully. She kissed my cheek. It wasn't much of a date but it was a pretty good one. We just hung out at the park. Then 3:00 came we decided to go home. I walked her home. I took her to her house. Kissed her good night and she walked in. I love her so much. Here my secret though... At graduation I'm going to propose or maybe somewhere else i don't know? I walked into the house. "Mom I need to asked you something its private" I said. "Sure honey" she said as we walked into my room. "What is it honey?" Mom asked me. "I want to propose to Rachel" I said. "Oh my gosh! That's great news" she said. "But I don't know or how to do it" I said. "Why don't you take her to where wait.... How about the park you two love it there" she said. "True but I don't have a ring" I said. "I can help with that" mom said. She walked into the kitchen and cracked down something. She handed me a check for 90 dollars. "Here make Rachel happy" she said. "Thanks mom" I said. I hugged her. I studied for exams and then went to sleep. The next morning I called Kora
"Hello who's this" asked Kora
"Hey it's Garfield" I said
"Oh hey Garfield what's up" Kora said.
"Nothing much except for the fact that I'm going to propose to Rachel at graduation and I need to ask for her hand so can you get her out of the house for a couple of hours" I asked.
"OMG yes!!!!!" She said.
"Cool thanks Kora!" I said
Then I hanged up ok now the hard part. I put on my collared shirt and black jeans and black high tops. I walked to Rachel's house. I knocked on the door. Rachel's mom opened the door. "Hey Garfield, Rachel just left" she said. "I'm not here for Rachel I need to talk to you and Mr.Wayne" I said. "Really " she said. "Yes m'am" i said. I walked in. "Please sit" Mr.wayne said. I walked over to where he was sitting and sat down. "So what do you want to talk about Garfield" asked Mr.Bruce. "I feel like this is not to end well but I've come to ask for Rachel's hand" I said. I scratched my neck. Which is now you know I'm nervous. Mr.Wayne and Mrs.Wayne looked at each other. "We'll talk about it, come Bruce" Mrs.Bruce. They walked into the next room. "Bruce you know we like him he protects Rachel he sweet what's not to like about him" Rachel's mom said. "I know but their 18 years old" Bruce said. "I'm sure he's going to engage to her but they'll what until the right time to get married" Rachel's mom said. "Ok if that is his intentions" Bruce said. Then they walked into the room. "You have our agreement" they said. "Thank you" I said. I shook Bruce's hand and hugged Arella. I ran home. I closed the door. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" I cheered. "What is it?" Mom asked. "I can asked her" I said. "That's great" mom said. "Now all I have to do is pass the finals, graduate, and then ask her" I said. "Good luck" mom said. I smiled. I ran to my room and studied.
