Rachel's POV
I walked to Garfield's house. Today we were going to go to the park. I got to gar's house. I walked up to the front door. then I heard screaming it sounded like gar and his mom. "you don't understand mom Ive been trying "gar screamed. "You're going to get your grades up" his mom screamed. "Im trying"he screamed. then I heard a loud smack. "you're going to" his mom screamed. then I heard loud footsteps coming towards the door. I moved out of the way. "oh rach" he said but I cut him off. I hugged him he hugged me back. I felt his tears fall on my shoulder. "It's ok" I said. he pushed me off. "no it's not" He said. i looked at his face he had a black eye and a hand mark on his face. i touched his face. "ouch" he said. "im sorry" I said. "its ok for some reason when you touch it it feels alright" he said. I smiled. "come on" I said. I grabbed his hand. I stopped him. "listen I've had my serving of hurt before look" I said I pulled my pants leg up and showed him a scar. "this is from my father" I said. he looked at the scar at shock. I kissed his cheek. we walked to the park. we sat on the old swings and talked. then we sat under a tree and talked. "what do you think you're going to do in the future" I asked him. "I'm not sure but all I know is that I think I see in my future a beautiful girl in a white dress standing beside me getting married to me then her and me in our living room sitting on the couch and she's holding our little baby boy her watching me play football with him in the yard from the porch." he said. I thought about what he said. "who's the girl" I asked meekly. "well she has indigo eyes beautiful black hair and pale skin and she's you" he said. I smiled. I grabbed his collar and kissed him. I wrapped my legs around his middle.he held my back. I released his collar and released him. "I'm talking about a career " I said. "well I'm not sure I was thinking about a aquamarine" he said. "I'm guessing a job to do with animals" I said. "yeah" he said. we got up. gar and I walked around. then we stopped at the swan lake. gar held my hand. "you know something" he said. "what" I said. "I think I'm in love with you " he said. i blushed. "well I think I'm in love with you" I said. he kissed my hand. "you two are disgusting" said someone. we looked around it was terra. "what do you want" gar said. "I just want to talk to the boyfriend stealing emo bitch" she said. i walked up to her. "terra I have had enough, I'm tired of you insults you attitude and I'm tired of you saying I stole your boyfriend he broke up with because your a selfish bitch" I said. that left her speechless. I walked off from her. gar ran after me. "I love you, you actually got little bitch to shut up" he said. "well I was tried of her bullshit" I said. he walked me home. "bye see you tomorrow" I said. I kissed him. he got a little ruff. I pushed him off. "sorry" he said. "night" I said. I walked in the house. "Rachel can you come here" mom said. I ran into the living room. "sit down dear" mom said. I sat down. "what is it" I asked. "we want to meet your boyfriend" mom said. "I think he would like to meet you guys to" I said. "well I'm going to be happy to meet him" mom said. "when" I asked her. "maybe tomorrow" she said. "I'll see." I said. "ok dear" she said. I ran off to my room. I picked up my phone. I called gar. "hello" I said. "hi" but I could barely hear him because of all the screaming. "what's going on there" I asked. "my mom is mad can I come over" he said. "sure" I said. I walked into the living room. "did you talk to Garfield" mom asked yes but he said that tomorrow is not going to be a good time but tonight is he's coming over" I said meekly. "oh ok" mom said. i ran to my room and changed back into my clothes from today because I had change into my pjs.  Then I heard the doorbell. gar was standing there. he looked awful. his hair was messed up his black eye was worse and he had a small scratch on his eyebrow. i walked out and closed the door. "what happened" I asked him. "my sister got pregnant my brother destroyed half of his room with his experiments and dad left her today" he said. "oh gar" I kissed his eye. he smiled. I brought him in. I sat him down in the kitchen. I got him an ice pack and I put it on his eye. I clean his cut. "Rachel whe... oh hello Garfield" mom said walking in. "what happened" she asked. "um my brothers were playing football and hit me in my eye" I said. then I got Rachel's call and came over." he said. "well I'm sorry and it is very nice to meet you" she said holding out her hand. he stood up. I looked at them and saw how gar towered over my mother. "it's nice to meet you to mrs. Wayne" he said shaking her hand. we walked into the living room where my step dad was sitting. "it's nice to meet you mr. Wayne." gar said. "nice to meet you to Gar... gar.." stepdad said trying to find Garfields name. "Garfield sir" he said. "thank you Garfield" he said.
