I headed down stairs but Grian grabbed my tail before I had gotten down to first step. "Fascinating." He muttered as he examined the translucent, blade like point on my tail. It had startled me and I smacked him in the face with my wing, knocking him back. Grian groaned slightly and held his left cheek. "Ouch." He said with a wince. Grey look stunned for a second. " Well that's your fault. You shouldn't have grabbed her tail without asking. Idiot." Said Grian. " I'm sorry miss." Said Grian as he got to his feet. "It's fine. I guess I should apologize as well." I replied. "All is forgiven. Now we must get going. It's almost sun up." Said Gray as he ran down the stairs. I quickly followed and in a second we were in our back yard. My left ear twitched as I heard a small rustling come from a tree. I quickly turned to the sound and seen 2 glowing orange orbs in the leaves. "Hand her over." Said a feminine voice. The boys bothe pivoted on their heals and Grian unsheathed his katana while Grey pulled a double sided axe from a strap that held it to his back. "Show your self. Immediately!" Said Grian. "Hmmmmm? Let's even out the odds first." She cackled and 2 red blinding balls of light came from the tree and flew at the boys.
