Bella heard the bell rang for the first time since she got into the class and she began to gather her things.

"Bella, would you stay behind please?"

Bella groans, what did she do now...? Bella sat back down and glanced over Ven's way as he walked out of class. He is so beautiful and flawless, how can someone like that be... Snapping out of her thoughts she flushed a shade of red and looked back to Mr. Hawkins.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, why?"

"I saw your face when you walked back into the classroom with Ven, it seems something was on your mind." Mr. Hawkins began and he stands up walking towards her. "Was it because of that one night?"

"..." Bella froze, he knew her too well. "Yeah it was..."

"You're supposed to let that go."

"How can I...?" Bella asks him. "It was not very long ago, you know..."

♀ Flashback ♀

It was...about six months ago...

Bella laughed with her best friend on the way home from school, her brother was with them making sure everything was okay and Bella laughed once more. Zack heard something behind them, and the next thing Bella heard was a gunshot, and Bella fell down on her stomach screaming in pain, her name was being called from behind and she tried looking back seeing her best friend being dragged behind an alleyway.

"N-no!!!" Bella screamed out and looked back seeing Zack knocked out, and Bella tried getting up but couldn't. "Give her back!"

Bella's world was getting dark and her best friend's voice pierced her ears. "Bella, help me!"

Bella tried getting up but something was keeping her from getting up. Bella's eyes teared up and she began crying, closing her eyes tightly feeling pain in her shoulder blade. Bella's eyes snapped open and she cried and screamed in pain.

"Why! Why would you abandon me?!" Bella's best friend screamed at her in question and Bella fell into darkness.

There was more to the story, but...Bella didn't know what it was...

Bella's tears fell down her face as she gathered her things and ran out of the room. Mr. Hawkins yelled out her name and went to the door seeing her rounding a corner to go somewhere. Mr. Hawkins sighs and leans his head against the door.

As Bella rounded another corner, she slammed into someone and fell on her butt having everything fall around her. Bella opens her sky blue eyes and sees a beautiful Cerulean looking back at her. Her breath stopped in her throat and she blinks quietly.

"Hey, you okay?" Ven asks her.

"I'm fine." Bella says gathering her things quickly and ran off again.

"Bells!" calls out a familiar voice as she walked out into her usual spot in the shaded area seeing Hayner waving towards her. "Over here!"

Chuckling, Bella walked over there with her lunch and sat by her brother who was already there, smiling she took out her PB&J sandwhich and began munching on it.

"So, I heard you showed the new kid around." Pence said as Bella nods. "How was it?"

"Okay, not much to say." She says taking another bite of her sandwhich closing her eyes. "Just basically did what I usually do."

Hayner and Pence laugh and Bella rolls her eyes gently and takes a sip of her drink and looks over seeing if Ven would show up from her offer but- he didn't show up which worried her. Taking a deep breath, she took another bite of her sandwhich.

"You okay?" whispered her brother as she nodded. "You seem out of it."

"I'm fine, brother." Bella smiles assuringly "Don't worry about me." She leans on him whilst drinking her soda.

"Did you hear, Ven left school." A girl said walking by the usual spot.

"I wonder if it was because of Bella."

"She was always such a crybaby." The same girl said laughing. "She seriously can't get over her best friends' death."

"Would you cry if I left?"

"Hell no, I have plenty of best friends' your just one of them that I just get along with better."

Bella rolls her eyes and shakes her head. Some people, they just don't understand.

"Besides, Bella needs to learn to move on, her best friend is gone and she has no one else but her brother." The girl laughed. "Her other friends may be being nice now, but in the end, she has no one."

Bella suddenly felt sick to her stomach, she put down her sandwhich and soda and began tearing up as the girls laughed and walked off. Bella quickly got up and ran to the bathroom to throw up her food. Her friends and brother were worried about her, she has been doing good this whole time until she hears them speaking about that day.

Zack knew she wasn't anorexic or bulimic, she just hated talk like that and it always got to her, and it didn't help the images kept haunting her every thought. Nightmares keeping her up at night always worried Zack so he slept in the same room as her to make sure she had a peaceful night.

Bella returns looking very pale and looks like she is going to pass out anytime. Zack got up quickly gathering her things and his and touched her shoulder, she nods and quickly gets on his back and they stroll their way to the nurse's office to go home early.
