After getting home, Bella was put straight to bed as she slept quietly. The nurse at school was quite used to seeing Bella and gave her some promethazine, something the nurse kept handy for her students. Sometimes it helped and sometimes it didn't. Today was one of the lucky days that it did work.

Zack smiles and tucks her in and quietly leaves the room without making a sound, any sound could possibly wake her up. Quietly Zack walks downstairs to get some food ready for dinner, without trying to burn down the house. Kilala, Bella's pet, followed him to the kitchen to get it done.

♀ Bella's Dream ♀

Bella roams around the emptiness that is her mind. Bella hugs herself close and wonders what is going on? Bella tries to yell but her voice was not working, nothing worked. Her ears felt plugged, her eyesight is blurry, her muscles didn't even want to move.

"I'm coming after you, Bella, I will win this and your lucious blood and soul."

Bella squeaks and stops moving trying to get away from it. But her body wasn't moving, she glanced over seeing someone walking towards her, she didn't know who it was but it scared her. The body stopped behind her and she tensed up, her eyes were wide and everything about her just screamed 'get away' but she couldn't run.

Bella could hear nothing but feel the coldness of his skin, the man chuckles and touches her neck and traces it gently.

"You're so beautiful and tasty, no wonder he wants to keep you alive and human."

He... Who was he...? Bella wondered who he was talking about. But suddenly she felt something touch her neck and it made her tense up even more.

"Go...Away..." Bella finally managed to mutter out to the man who laughed at her and turned her around as she finally got a good look at him. Fire red hair with piercing green eyes with lines under them. He wore a black coat to hide everything that he has to hide, but the teeth, they were- no...

"I'm sorry, but I didn't hear you." The man said with a smirk leaning down and she growls loudly.

"I said...Go! Away!" She finally pushed him off and fell on her ass and backed away from him. She needed to stop being so scared of everything that comes her way.

"Ooh, fiesty one aren't you?" The man smirks and bends down to her height and says to her. "Names Axel. Got it Memorized?"

And with that, she is shocked awake,

Bella gasps awake and jolts up from her bed and wipes the sweat from her head. She sighs and grabs her head and begins thinking.

'Axel...Just- who are you...?'

After waking up and hearing the alarm of the kitchen going off and Bella ushered her brother out before he burned the apartment down, and he began playing with Kilala whilst she finished the cooking. Sighing, she looked at him over the counter and smiles. She continues making some Curry Rice and Gyoza[1], something they both love.

Bella began thinking about the past, she never knew her parents, they died when she was four years old. Zack and his long-time girlfriend, Aerith, were both there for her ever since she can remember. She usually -sometimes- calls Zack, dad and Aerith, mom. They don't really care about that all they care about is that she's happy. But, it all changed about a few years ago. Aerith died from being hit by a drunk driver on her way home from her part time job as a flower girl. It saddened both Zack and Bella, but Zack barely got over it and he hasn't dated since.

It didn't bother Bella, but- it would be nice to have a girl sometimes since most of her friends are boys and the only girls she hangs out with are; Kalia, Raven, Adela, Yuki[2], Meera[3] and Olette and then you have the guys. Bella sighs against finishing the Gyoza and then the Curry Rice and put them on three plates putting even amounts on each. Smiling when she finished, Bella put them on the livingroom table and sat down looking at Zack who looked content. Their roommate, Cloud, should be returning from work soon and he should be hungry when he gets home.

The door begins to unlock and Cloud walks right in closing the door and locking it. They weren't in the best neighborhood, but it was in their budget so they could all afford it. Smiling as Zack gets up and helps Cloud with his stuff, they're both mercenaries for hire, whatever you need, just call them. Bella took over Aerith's flower shop and it was still going strong, as long as it continues growing for Aerith's sake, right?

"How was work?" questioned Zack as he and Cloud walked to the table to eat.

"Work, nothing special. Just a usual customer complaining about Vampires again." Cloud sighed and begins eating.

They knew Bella's rules. No eating until everyone was at the table. The last time they did that, she threw a fit and wouldn't cook for a few days. They starved themselves because she doesn't approve of take-out food

"Vampires?" Bella questions blinking at him.

Cloud nods. "Hm." He looks at them both. "According to the customer, every night for the past week, his livestock has been disappearing one by one."

Bella blinks and giggles, Vampires? How silly. As she continues eating her food, someone knocks at the door, her stomach drops and looks over at the door. Zack and Cloud both stood up and quietly walked to the door, grabbing their pocket knives and Bella stood up slowly as Kilala began hissing. Something didn't sit right with Kilala and Bella knew that meant danger[3].

Zack and Cloud lean against the door and look out the curtains to see who was out there and it was three men with bats. Both Zack and Cloud look at one another and then towards Bella who nods grabbing Kilala, she quietly and quickly runs up the stairs to Zack's room and shuts the door locking it.

The next thing she knew, pounding and yelling is heard downstairs, Bella quietly squeaks plugging her ears as Kilala leans against her making sure she stays safe.

When it suddenly went quiet, Bella began shaking and a familiar knock found it's way to Bella's ears and Bella stood up quickly unlocking the door and hugging Zack close to her happily in tears that he and Cloud were safe.

"Can't lose us that quickly, Rose." Cloud smiles and she smiles and nods as well and she goes in the bathroom to get the first aide to fix them up to continue a very good night.

[2] Those four girls I just named; Kalia, Raven, Adela, and Yuki don't belong to me, but I have permission to use them for Kingdom Hearts :D

[3] Meera is the somebody of Xemera, she is my OC and she belongs to me.

[4] Since this is an AU (Alternate Universe), Bella gets scared quite easily since the tragic incident that occured six months ago. In the NU (Normal Universe), she is actually quite tough and willing to pull a gun as she sees a threat.
